Hey Blake & Ryan, We have heard of a few issues with the liner lock in some of the pieces. In all honesty it has nothing to do with the price-point but everything to do with us putting so much pressure on the factory to deliver on time. Thankfully we’ve found these to only be on a low percentage of knives and we’ll happily swap those out with new ones as the factory will be replacing any defective units to us! Hey Lance - Yeah, micarta handles are not always identical ebtween handle pieces or knife colors because they are all individually treated and machined.. also the coloring tends to change over time and use giving them a more sophisticated, natural look and feel.
