Exactly. I'll include a flooded and dry rooms to simulate this I think. I also thought the pressure plate can unlock the door or open the grate. With careful use of assets you may set up additional plates to do all of these things.

Glad you like it. Yeah I figure the evil lord would have plenty of golems to stack up the stones of his fortress! Or to build underground tunnels. However, how do they act when the lord is not around? Or when the building is all done? Do they continue stacking and moving stones? Sounds like a ready made encounter to me ;)

Lol. Sorry. I should have specified to start from the bottom. It is a terrible joke. I'm a dad ;)

This all sounds excellent!

I forgot to mention... the spirit of the project is to make puzzle assets that allow GMs to make their own puzzles. To that end, I'm going to try and create cracks and tears so that GMs can paste them over their own pictures that they want to "fragment." I'll post an update on this later as I make progress.

Whenever a player doesn't know something, but their character would, I always clue them in. So, the big dumb barbarian may not know how to read music, but the cleric that was raised in a monastery and taught all the essentials would. Otherwise, always let your players make an intelligence check. If they can roll a die to pick up five hundred pounds why can't they roll a die to read sheet music? Also, the names of the keys/notes might be unique to your world. (this would make it easier to spell complicated words instead of abba dabba for example ;) Good point about moving the heavy rocks around. That's why I want to make a map torn into pieces. Easier to move about. That said, it would be hilarious to make players lug all that weight about. - CZ

I've never encountered this one before. But I'm sure I figured it out. Good one! Oh, you could use keys instead of coins. Only the right key will function.

Good ideas John and Heavens. I think there will be some more ideas based on player point of view in the pdf. Especially when it comes to push puzzles. These are extremely difficult to solve without the overhead view. Def a way to up the challenge for veteran puzzle players. - CZ
