However, since PocketCloud has active cooling with a fan and the dock comes with its own heatsink, no additional heatsink is necessary to ensure long-term stable performance. PocketCloud uses two Flat Top 18650 batteries, which can be charged via the Type-C port using a power adapter—no dock is required. While you can also charge it by connecting to a computer after powering it on, this method is not recommended. Due to the limited power output from most computers, PocketCloud prioritizes system operation over charging, which can result in extremely slow or failed charging.
