Hi Mike, yes, we’ll be releasing a more comprehensive list of compatible SSDs soon! We're currently compiling and testing, and the full list will be available on a dedicated webpage, which we expect to launch in June. Thanks for your patience, and let us know if you have any specific models you'd like us to prioritize testing!

Hi Nick, thanks for your questions! Yes — PocketCloud uses incremental backup, so it only backs up the differences rather than copying everything each time. This helps save both time and storage. As for version control, PocketCloud doesn't currently support it. We really appreciate your suggestion, though! While it's not on our roadmap at the moment, we’ll definitely keep it in mind as we continue to improve the product.

Hi Stenfan, we're currently working on Docker support. In the future, you'll be able to deploy a Plex Server via Docker — though please note that hardware transcoding won't be supported.

Hi Jayce, yes, absolutely! You can connect your portable SSD to the USB-A port on PocketCloud. Once connected, you’ll be able to move files directly between your SD cards and the SSD — no need for a computer in between.

Hi Nick, when the PocketCloud isn’t connected, you can still access the files on the dock’s SSD by connecting it directly to a computer via the USB-C port. However, network access (such as through the LAN port) isn’t supported without PocketCloud attached — so LAN functionality requires PocketCloud to be docked. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Nick, you can indeed access the files on the dock SSD via the USB port without the need for the PocketCloud to be docked. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Hi John, 1. Yes, the mobile app supports creating folders on the device. 2. Yes, the app allows moving files between folders on the device. 3. When backing up an SD card, you can set the backup path for the card via the app. The next time you use the device’s screen and knob for quick backup, the content will be saved to your specified directory. Backup directories for different SD cards can be set individually. For example, after inserting a drone’s SD card, set the directory as "My Backup/Drone". The next time you insert the drone’s card and use the screen/knob for quick backup, it will automatically save to "My Backup/Drone". 4. Yes, it is incremental backup and only backs up new content. 5. The PocketCloud can be charged via the USB-C port while in use (e.g., during SD card backup). 6. No, the device cannot act as a card reader when connected to a PC via USB-C. 7. After enabling auto-backup, the app will detect new photos and videos and automatically back them up each time you open the app.
