Hey Lindsay, They sure do!! Before we started working from home we tested the prototype on the subway in Brooklyn!

Sounds interesting Edward!

Hi, Excellent question! This is something we considered when choosing our brass material. brass 360 is easier to machine but has a standard avg of 2.5-3.7% lead so we chose 260 which isn't as easy to work with but only has .06-.07% lead. Mind you up until 2014 brass water faucets were allowed to be called "Lead Free" if it had under 8% lead! Thankfully the regulations have changed and now it can be called "Lead Free" if it has less than .25% !

Hey Greg, I don't really see how a notch would be able to fit all types of doorknobs but regardless, we don't want to make any major design changes at this point as we're focusing on making sure we can get production and fulfillment as soon as possible. Thanks for the suggestion and your support!

Hi Greg, Haven't seen that one before. Looks nice and thin but that would make it pretty ineffective as a stylus - we tested many thicknesses to find the right one that would mimic a finger diameter to actually work on all types of point-of-purchase machines that require a signature. Also - stainless steel is nice but the latest study shows that the coronavirus can live 3-4 days on stainless steel as opposed to a couple of hours for copper and brass.

Ha, I think a lot of us will be germaphobes after this ordeal! Actually the studies didn't make much of a difference at all between the antimicrobial properties of pure copper or copper alloys such as brass that have at least 70% copper. - So copper is a soft metal and would be prone to denting, bending etc but brass is quite strong due to the 30% zinc!

Sure!

Hey Fearless, Looks like that article is from 2015 and looks to have similar findings to the recent study from the New England Journal of Medicine, "Rapid inactivation of human coronavirus occurs on brass and copper nickel surfaces at room temperature (21°C).".. Thanks for sharing!

Sounds super cool but would take awhile to design and produce...
