Hey M.A., The reason we had to use a hex shape to get the tip into the body when using the bits is because bit usage requires a rotational movement so if it was attached to the BitzBlade body by means of additional threading, when you turn the tool body to screw/unscrew something you would simultaneously be screwing/unscrewing the bit receptor from the tool body.

That being said, we have heard from a number of people with this issue and nearly all were able to rectify the fit with the slight ball bearing screw adjustment. Hey M.A., We've had a few messages about the tip being either too loose or too tight when trying to fit the window punch end into the body in order to use the bit holder. Basically that screw opposite the ball bearing needs to be removed and then you can loosen or tighten the ball bearing to make it fit to your liking. nearly all the people with this issue were able to resolve it with this fix.
