Hi Goodfellow, If it is a silver color than it is not pure brass and it is quite common actually for items coming from China to incorrectly mark their materials! Most of the fake imitations I saw on Amazon and ebay are coming straight from China. Our Hygiene Hands are proudly made in the U.S. as well as the included retractable keychains, giving much needed work to American factories.

Thanks for asking Cindy! I guess there’s not much point to since we’ve become quite aware of them already. There are new ones popping up all the time, many from new websites that you can trace back to China but the ones from U.S. companies is more surprising but I guess when the economy had taken a hit and ideas are not easy to come by this is what happens. Oh well. Thanks for your moral support!

Hey Brian, Patents take a long time to process and they are not guaranteed so although we have several patents pending as we were the first to create this, they are not enforceable now. Unfortunately many companies such as the ones listed by you and Ernest are among the ones that have created their own "spin" on it and branding it as their idea. I guess that's a tad better than the dozens of ads we're seeing online for fake websites that are just posting our exact Hygiene Hands (even our exact photo's we took!) but hey, we're happy people are trying to help flatten the curve but it would have been nice if they waited until after our campaign ended as we were the original..

AQ, The virus can live on brass (and other copper alloys) for a couple of hours vs a few days for stainless steel and plastic do it would be smart to wipe down the Hygiene Hand between uses. As a carry option we’ve included a free retractable keychain so that you don’t have to put a used tool back in your pocket. Thanks for your support!
