Hi Ro, Can you send us a pic of the issue to [email protected].. We had another message about this and it turned out that it was a simple fix that the screw going through the carbide tip piece was not pushed deep enough. On the opposite end of the screw is a ball bearing which is supposed to catch on a lip inside when putting the carbide tip end inside the housing to use a bit. If the ball bearing is too far out then it won't fit inside at all and if it is not far enough out then the bit holder will not stay in and will fall out - which sounds like the problem you've encountered. If possible to use a small torx wrench to find the right depth of the ball bearing screw and it should be all set! Sorry about that issue!

Hey Amy, Great idea! I’ll put together a quick video explaining all the features and segments of the BitzBlade and upload the link in an update. In the meantime, the actual LED housing rotates counter clockwise to turn on the light and then clockwise to close it again. If you’re at the pocket clip part you’re too far down. If you keep twisting counter clockwise even after the light turns on that part comes off to swap out the batteries. Thanks!

Hey Cohnny, Yeah you gotta hold the tool body close to the light when twisting on/off the led but even if reverse threaded it would then unscrew when closing the light... it’s a catch 22 when making so many sections in a single shaft tool. Thanks for your support! Enjoy!

Hey Jon, The firestarter rod isn’t specifically made for the BitzBlade but it can really be used with the flat spine of most knife blades. For the BitzBlade I would say the non-sharp side of the box cutter piece. Thanks!

Hey Roy, Interesting point but not sure it will be so easy to cut through accidentally as it's a pretty durable nylon material. Thanks for your support!
