Hi James, We're assuming he's one of the copycats as we reported him, and he backed our campaign in an attempt to spam / slander us in the messages. (he's been reported). We've clearly stated since day 1 that this is being produced in the USA, and our latest update shows a photo from the factory in Wisconsin. It is very illegal to state "Made in USA" if its not produced here. Please know we have a great reputation as a company of over 10 years, and we've produced 20+ Kickstarter campaigns.

Hi Elaine, That's correct, you can click on updates and see the project launch date. I think it would be better to have the launch date somewhere on the main page, but that's just a personal preference :) Also, you're right that EDC is largely targeted towards male with many companies, but everyday carry is definitely a concept for everyone (its simply the things we decide to carry with us on a daily basis!). With the retractable carabiner, it will definitely allow for more carry options, whether that's attaching to a purse, backpack, beltloop, etc. We want to have the most options possible, as everyone goes about daily tasks differently.

My fear Goodfellow, We appreciate your concern for our backers but I believe they have all seen our reputation and believe us when we tell them that we are making these in the U.S. We will even have made in the USA engraved on the pieces which would be illegal to do if not really made here. If you need other proof we can try to take the time to get you a picture of our team at the factory holding up American flags while wearing DONT TREAD ON ME tee shirts. We’re quite busy and although we thoroughly enjoy some good back and forth banter will not be taking more time to respond to your further comments. Be safe!
