Hey Abby, So glad you like it! Although it doesn’t lock it does have a sturdy backspring so leatherwork should be no problem for the Ledge. Thanks for your support!

Hi Michael, Welcome! We'll be using Backerkit after the campaign to send out surveys to collect shipping info, color choices etc.. We can also offer discounts to add some of our other products BUT as per the newly enforced referendum in Canada we can't ship most of our other knives across the border. They are legal to own and carry in Canada but they're to letting them across the border. But then again, that's one of the driving forces behind our creation of the Ledge to begin with:)

Thanks Mike! You'll love it!

Thanks Crawx - Agreed the red really “pops” on the black scales. Should be no issue importing these which excites us because we’ve had many requests for a slip-joint knife for some time now from our UK fans! Many U.S. knife fanatics also enjoy the nostalgic feel of a solid slip-joint as well! Thanks for your support!

Thanks so much for all the continued support Hiram!

Hey Jason, Correct, locking knives and folding knives are allowed to be owned and carried in Canada BUT many of these are not allowed to be shipped into Canada if they can be opened with one hand by means of a flipper, thumbstud, centrifugal force, etc.. We’ve had several long conversations with Canadian border patrol about the newly enforced referendum (they are quite pleasant to speak with actually!)

Hi Cesar, Slip-joint mechanisms are still used in all Swiss Army knives as well as many edc folding knives. Using a blade normally with pressure against the edge keeps it from folding. Thanks!

Dominic, Additional colors aren’t planned but we’re not ruling anything out now!
