Hi all, We have mentioned MANY times in the past several updates and dozens of comments that we have pre-printed labels even before we had inventory in stock so that we could get a head start on fulfillment. This is not a "shady" practice as some of you have suspected as we could of just as easily set the tracking email to just be emailed once the shipment hit the mailstream - in hindsight I guess this is what we should have done so that we wouldn't have had so many people complaining about this but we thought people would like to get the tracking info even before the shipment was going out just for everyone to see that it was being worked on... Oh well! Live and learn I guess! We had an estimated fulfillment date of MAY which is what we are still standing by! Sorry if you had hoped to get your rewards early May, which many people have but of course shipping over 11,000 packages does take time and we're satisfied to get them all out in May anyway even if some people had to wait longer in May that others! If this was your first Kickstarter campaign you've ever backed you might not be familiar with the process but I assure you MOST campaigns have a few months of production time not the very next month after the campaign ends and many of those campaigns will even fulfill months later than expected. We know many are frustrated because it appears like you can just purchase identical pieces online from many other sellers and of course it's more frustrating for us knowing how many counterfeits and copycats are out there but rest assured, we have purchased many of those available and all the ones we received pretty quickly are garbage. Most are some unknown metal with spray-painted coloring that easily flakes off. Also as ours is 1/4" thick thus enabling it to work as a stylus on touchscreens, most we checked out are actually either 1/8" or even 1/16" thick and do not work as a stylus at all with some even easily bent out of shape. We are proud to be making ours in the U.S. thus supporting U.S. factories in a time that many companies are laying off their employees, our factories are even hiring new ones to keep up with our orders. Thanks for your patience and rest assured your orders will be going out ASAP!
