@ Uncontested - Got your email and have already processed the refund. Totally understand, Ti is pretty neat. The issue wasn't really just a matter of cost but more an issue of the factory needing to re-design the TriTac for more effective machinability. Their proposed re-design didn't look right and would also take away some strength from parts of the pen body which we obviously didn't want. If we want to re-design for titanium we would use our own engineers to ensure a quality design and then re-launch just for titanium but right now we don't have any plans for that. We always appreciate your support!

Hey Ron - We totally understand that the situation is disappointing as it's disappointing to us as well! We're doing our best to be upfront and offer what we can even in the situations where we won't be profiting such as those who ordered at the Early Bird pricing but our reputation means everything to us. That being said, we would never want someone who funded our campaign to be unhappy which is why we are offering an immediate refund to those who would rather that option. thanks!

Our pleasure Ben! Good question... If someone wants more than just their 2-3 letter initials engraved we should be able to fit about 7 letters on the knife housing part but the letters will be a little smaller than if they just choose a few initials. Also, if someone really wants a long engraving we can engrave on the lower part of them pen without an issue of space.
