Hi all, The Pocket Lumen was intentionally designed to turn off by twisting as much as possible clockwise. This will help keep the pieces together so it won’t come apart and will also keep the light from coming in accidentally. With the led twisted all the way closed it also provides the maximum water resistance since there is less space for water to sneak through.
