Making food is about nourishment, and owning a food business is about nourishing the masses. Zylberschtein's will give me the opportunity to offer a Jewish Deli menu that is all about comfort food and nostalgia, from our exceptional house-made breads and bagels to the cured meats and pickles (my dad's specialty). I have always felt such tremendous gratification by sharing food with others. We will dig into my family's recipes, bringing amazing-tasting Jewish food to North Seattle. Epic sandwiches, soups that warm from within, and breads, oh my, the breads. As our name indicates, we are looking to the past for inspiration and to honor our family.
Risks and challenges
These kickstarter funds will help with the remodel of the space and to secure the lease. It is a portion of the needed funds to make this dream a reality. We are hoping to find investors for working capital for the cafe as we launch. As I expect business to fluctuate, we want to make sure we have sufficient funding to get us going. It is always a risk to operate a food business. We will constantly work with the neighborhood to make sure we are providing the best possible experience, use social media to connect with our base, and let customers know what we are up to.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
