Finally settled into San Diego, and now its time for some repairs. Yesterday I needed to do some plumbing work, so I decided to shave a mustache just like Mario. I think it helped... Here is a post made by Eric describing "The Darker Side of Boating."
The other jobs on our checklist are replacing grommets on many of Panache's sails, and getting the standing rigging tuned. All fun stuff.
Its good to be back in the big city, but I am chomping at the bit to hit the water again! Its crazy how many people in town are heading south within the week. Panache is tied up at a public dock where everyone there is heading to Mexico and beyond. Very exciting stuff!
Check out my latest blog update describing our trip to/at Santa Catalina Island HERE. I was sad to leave, but this is a sailing trip after all!
I have video footage, but my editing program is having some problems. Once I get it back up and running, I will whip out a video for you all. Feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel for automatic updates. I also just sent the postcard layout to the printer, so I'm very fired up to get that sent off to everyone!
We have four more days to reach our goal. The key is to repost and resend. The more people who know about it, the more opportunities we have to reach our goal. If you know anyone that might be interested, send them the link. Simple :)
Thanks again for supporting this photographic journey.
