New Rewards, New Extras, and Limited Upgrades for $250+ contributors

Wow, everyone! After just a week, we've reached 33% of our goal! This is fantastic news and a great sign, especially just based on word of mouth. We're expecting several big bumps in coming weeks as a few cross-promotions kick in, not to mention the major presence we'll have at Gen Con Indy and PAX Prime.

We've also been listening to your requests and feedback and have some exciting new REWARDS and EXTRAS to share.

First, we tracked down the molds from the Gamers: Dorkness Rising miniatures and are once again able to offer them for sale! They'll be listed in our EXTRAS section and will also be available as free add-ons for pledges of $250 and up. (See below for details.) They'll be available for $6 apiece or a set for $20. Current available options include Daphne, Sir Osric, Flynn the Fine, and Luster, who comes as a double pack with both male and female versions.

Additionally, many members of our troupe have agreed to do something seriously awesome for this Kickstarter campaign: custom voicemail greetings. We're adding 50 of these as a limited $100 reward now and the people who claim them will be able to choose from the following list. As a bonus, you can choose whether they record in character or as themselves. A huge thanks to everyone on this list, who went far and above the call of duty for this promotion!

  • Anne Kennedy Brady (Nara, Angel)
  • Brian Lewis (Cass, Silence, Carrow, Kentucky Blue Clay)
  • Bryan Bender (The Watcher)
  • Carol Roscoe (Joanna, Daphne)
  • Chris Ode (Floppenwrist)
  • Christian Doyle (Gary, Luster, Perf, Albrecht)
  • Don Early (Mort Agrippa, Silent Jim)
  • Ed Gibbs (The Hierophant, Syphilitic Ninja Vampire)
  • Emilie Rommel Shimkus (Wren)
  • Geoff Gibbs (Mort Kemnon)
  • Jen Page (Luster, Anti-Tank Sally, Starling)
  • Jeremy Spray (The Sword of Fighting, Grellnok)
  • Jesse Lee Keeter (Rilk)
  • Jimmy McMichael (Herr Doktor)
  • Kevin Pitman (Glorion, Ichabod)
  • Luke Amundson (Yart)
  • Matt Shimkus (London, Rogar, Syphilitic Ninja Vampire)
  • Matt Vancil (Duamerthrax, Hunk, Mitch, Wharrgarbl)
  • Nathan Rice (Gabriel, Newmoon, Lodge, Osric, Roderick)
  • Phil M Price (Nimble, St. Peter)
  • Samara Lerman (The Assassin, Vi)
  • Scott C. Brown (Leo, Flynn, Strong Like Bull)
  • Steve Wolbrecht (Chris, Nodwick)
  • Trin Miller (Zoe)

Once these 50 sell out, as our next limited promotion we'll be offering signed glossy photos for you to choose from. Only 50 will be available at the $100 level. More details on that in a few days.

Finally (and this is important!), many of you who contributed at $250 and above have expressed a desire to get in on some of the limited $100 rewards we've been offering. We ran the numbers and have some good news for you.

– If you contribute at the $1000 level, when the survey comes out you may choose two items from the following list.
– If you contribute $2000+, when the survey comes out you may choose three items from the following list.
– If you contribute $5000+, when the survey comes out you may choose four items from the following list.

  • A custom voicemail greeting from the character of your choice (see the full list of available choices above)

  • A screen-featured die or CCG card (pending availability, must also choose backup item if sold out)

If you currently have a limited item like dice or Flynn the Fine character sheets and decide you want to upgrade to a higher reward level, please contact us via PM to make sure that your reward goes with you when you upgrade. (If necessary, we'll time your upgrade and reduce the total on the relevant limited reward by one so that nobody else claims your item.)

(By the way, keep your eyes open for some upcoming RARE UNIQUE rewards at the $1000 level.)

The only place I have come across gamer hate is in video games, but only in PUGs. My guilds have always been awesome. As in good ol' pen & paper never had any abuse. Then again I've never played with strangers :-) definitely agree abuse to anyone should not be tolerated. Gamer guys are awesome. I love mine! My husband, back before he was even boyfriend, had my group of friends and me watch Dorkness Rising. I can say with almost certainty that was the day I knew he was the one for me. :-)

arkla – We'll do our best to match those up, but can't make a formal commitment to so without first doing some careful coordination with our art department.

Shane – For some reason, Brother Silence minis were never made back when Dorkness was released. We're pricing getting a new one sculpted.

Seth – McSterlingthong is an associate of our fine troupe, but he is also his own man. We'll ask him if he would be interested.

Brad – $20. (And as this gets more complicated with new extras we'll put a chart together soon to help simplify the process.)

Scott – That sounds correct to us.

Sarah – If there's enough demand we'll consider adding the voicemail as an EXTRA.

@Scott S. I believe that is what you need to do. After the KS is over, the survey will be sent to you where you then check off what you want use your extra pledge money for. I just did the same adding on of a few dollars to get a Blu-ray, get another DVD, get a t-shirt, and the set of minis.

    6. Scott Schwartz on July 26, 2012

I did the $50 and put in $30 extra for the Blu Ray and th $20 set of minis. Not sure if this is the right way to do it but I wanted to make sure.

*Sigh* if I didn't have to get everything again, I'd log and do a second donation for the voicemails but I won't need all the $100 level rewards again. You offered too much great stuff!

    9. Brad Gabriel on July 26, 2012

how much extra should we add for a full set of minis?

    11. Jim Wrench on July 25, 2012

What if those of us at the $250 level want to add the extra money for the full set of minis? Can we do that as well?
