We're still on set for the Wizard Wednesdays pilot shoot, but wanted to drop all of you a quick note thanking you for your early support of Strowlers. This project is near and dear to many of us and we can't wait to make some magic with you!

Here's what next steps look like, now that we're funded:

  • Finish remote pre-production for Mongolia
  • Pack very carefully
  • Make sure immunizations are up to date
  • Travel to Mongolia, via an overnight layover in Seoul
  • Remain in Mongolia for three weeks, where we'll shoot the short film and a documentary
  • Return to the States, via a two-night layover in Tokyo
  • MASSIVE JET LAG
  • Begin editing
  • Begin revisions on world bible text

We don't know yet exactly what our internet situation will be in Mongolia, but will upload as much behind-the-scenes video as is realistic while we're there. Best case, we'll also be able to do some live streaming.

Again, thank you all for stepping in to help fund this adventure. The opportunity to shoot in this window happened very quickly and we are so grateful that you've made the journey possible.

Any chance the $24k Stretch Goals might be unlocked post Kickstarter via pledge manager add-ons? That leather cover stretch goal along with the additional b-roll for the long layovers in Tokyo and Seoul sounded really great. Especially the Leather cover (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know-what-I-mean, know-what-I-mean?)
