Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
With this being a project with many different elements, there is always the possibility of finding ourselves in situations where we will need to adjust and calibrate our thinking and project without ever losing our overall project goal of creating a high quality documentary.
Our road trip to Las Vegas with stops on the way to help expose our brand will undoubtedly bring spontaneous situations and hurdles that we as a group will have to get through. But all these challenges will be captured and become a part of the final product (besides, it wouldn't be as fun if there were no "aspect of surprise").
With any kind of film project, you run into the chance of running into "snags" or time issues. On average, for ever one minute of film, it takes several hours of editing.
We have worked hard on procuring a professional video crew with a long record of finishing on time with a quality product. But of course, things "happen" and we will be as flexible and ready for any challenges that might come up during the entire process.
We have tried to make sure we have plenty of time for filming and editing and will have the film ready to submit to the Bendfilm festival as well as have it available online for our Kickstarter backers by the end of march. We will keep our Kickstarter community up to date with our progress during the entirety of the project.
