Transmission #22: Hello, Launch Trailer!

We're closing in on the finish line! (That's a joke... we'll never be finished... NEVER! Oh, look... a bug!)

Code 7's Coming Soon page is now live on Steam. Have a look and share if you like.
We plan to release Episode 1 between August 11th and 15th, followed by showcasing it at the Indie Arena Booth at gamescom in Cologne.

Launch Trailer

And also, we'd like to proudly present our Launch Trailer. Enjoy!

And Linux user, don't panic! We haven't forgotten you. We'll solemnly test and tweak your version and put it on Steam, too. Don't worry!
The German screen text version has to wait a little. We'll deliver it as soon as we can after launch. There's really A LOT of text by now that has to be translated and proofread. Thank you for your patience...

Recommended: Harold Halibut

Our friends have launched their GORGEOUS Harold Halibut on Kickstarter. It is a completely hand-made, claymated adventure and it looks amazing. We didn't even realize it was gameplay footage until someone put a controller in our hands!

@Remy: Thank you very much for your feedback! We're very happy with our voice actors, they did a great job. The hard to understand voice you mean is probably the part with the breathing and the reverb of Zoya? Where she's saying that she found an arm. Yeah, we will reduce that effect. It's a a bit much :)

@PrebenR: Backers will get the DRM-free Linux version on Release, don't worry. We're just cautious with putting it on Steam yet, since we don't have enough Linux testers. But if all goes well it should be on Steam at the same time as the other versions.

When will the Linux version come? At the time of release?

Wow ... that trailer was far and above what I was expecting. Great job everybody. It sounds like it will be a very engaging story; a lot going on and a lot of fantastic performances. Music's great too, very appropriate for the subject matter, but with a nice touch of emotional impact. Auditorily, the only thing I was wondering about was there was one voice with very heavy effects on it in the latter portion which was very hard to understand. It was after S.O.L.I addresses us, but it was not that part. I can give a timecode if I'm not being specific enough. I don't know if that was intentional. EIther way, great launch trailer. I'm looking forward to playing it in june ... then forgetting what happened between episodes and playing it again.:)
