About this project
In 2002, during our senior year in high school, we had a psychology teacher who looked a lot like John Travolta. We were sitting in his class one day naming John Travolta's movies. We went around in circles just trying to name as many as we could. Whenever someone could name one, that person named another actor. Eventually, this evolved into a game where each of us could change the actor 3 times before being eliminated.
Fast forward to present day...
Recently, I discovered Kickstarter and told lifelong friend, Stephan Harris. Within a day he suggested we adapt our game from high school into an real, fully developed party game. Together we refined the rules and added a ton of new twists designed to make the game exciting and fresh.
Now, we're ready to share our game with you and the world!
In addition to myself, there is...
The Man With the Plan
Stephan has spent his life in sales and business and knows how to maximize outputs for any given inputs. On the flip side, he is a lifelong gamer with a special love for strategy games. These talents combined have allowed him to not only develop new ideas, but to implement them in the most effective, fun, and exciting way possible in everything he has done.
Together as a team, we are a self-contained system of checks and balances that keep the game entertaining and fun enough for multiple plays.
Money generated through Kickstarter will go toward developing a cost effective prototype of Movie Mash Up. In addition, numerous copies will be created and distributed for testing purposes.
The project launch will be held in Columbus, OH. The tentative plan will be to launch at Origins Game Fair.
