Hero Brigade: Hero Harder, the standalone expansion to Hero Brigade, is here and ready to melt your face right off! But in a good way, you know, a positive manner of face-melting*.

Missed out on the Kickstarter? No problem, we've got you covered.
You can purchase a copy of Hero Brigade: Hero Harder through this store link via The Game Crafter. The store will be enabled after Kickstarter backers receive their copies of the game.
Hero Brigade is a fast-paced, 2-player, non-collectible card duel game with a comic book hero theme -- commonly referred to as "fp2pnccdgwacbht" or "F-P-two-pink-seed-gwakt" in gaming terminology -- with one player in the role of the valiant Heroes (Hooray!) and one player in the role of the dastardly Villains (Boo!).
Players take turns recruiting Mercenaries and other assets from the common Resource Deck, deploying characters to form their Party, and playing cards for one-time game effects. At the conclusion of the Play Phase, the players enter the Fight Phase and take turns beating each other up! Pow! Biff! Socko!
Hero Brigade: Hero Harder introduces brand new line-ups of Heroes, Villains, and Mercenaries! It is a standalone expansion, and can be enjoyed with 1-2 players for a complete play experience. Combine it with the original Hero Brigade to join forces in 3 or 4-player tag team battles!
Hero Brigade: Hero Harder also introduces the brand-new Plot Deck! Plots are a new element to the Fight Phase of Hero Brigade that add an additional layer of strategy and immersion! In addition to delivering staggering punches to each others' faces, the Heroes and Villains will need to navigate through various Plots like "Hostage Crisis!", "Collateral Damage!", "Catastrophe Across Multiple Realities!", and "Exitus, Cosmic Threat!"

Here's what people had to say about original flavor Hero Brigade:
"Hero Brigade is a lot of fun, challenging, fast, and gives the players a lot of choices. But not once did I feel or observe from our players that the amount of choice was a crushing weight on the players’ shoulders. Each card is like a miniature tool box. Often times, the right tool needed is clearly identified and the player knows exactly what to do. This is incredibly empowering and it’s a great feeling that each card you draw is useful." -- Father Geek

Risks and challenges
This is Zucchini People Games' third Kickstarter. Running Kickstarter campaigns is a never-ending journey of learning and discovery, but we feel as if we've achieved a better understanding of the complete process.
Our first game, Hero Brigade, went out to backers earlier this year, and our second game, Eternal Dynasty, is currently in the hands of the printers. Once Eternal Dynasty finishes on the manufacturing side of things, it will be passed off to Game Salute for distribution and fulfillment through its Ship Naked system.
I'll be handling all of the logistics for manufacturing, shipping, and fulfillment myself this time around as Hero Brigade: Hero Harder will be Zucchini People Games, LLC's first true solo flight! I'm hoping to avoid turbulence! I won't kid you, this is a pretty big leap, but it's the natural progression for the company's continued growth.
We learned with our first campaign that delays can happen, especially when it comes to the crazy world of large-scale tabletop printing and shipping. But we've done our best to minimize any delays on our end, and Hero Brigade: Hero Harder is ready to go to print immediately with the exception of any new content from Stretch Goals.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
