Hi Yacht Club Games! You were right, there is no issue with the rewards tiers they all say $25 and up as long as you go something higher than $25. The humble bundle support got back to me and said everything checks out. Thanks and congratulations again on another milestone to Shovel Knight Yacht Club Games!

    3. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 16, 2014

@Hiram Hibbard: As long as you emailed them they should get back to you. They are likely swamped with emails right now as the transition is fresh. I wish I could help you right now, but once the transition happened, we no longer have access to the digital delivery database.

    4. Hiram Hibbard on February 15, 2014

How can I change my platform? I have a key for the wrong platform and emailed humble support a couple days ago, but haven't heard back.

    5. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 15, 2014

@Ken Gagne: Hmmmm that's interesting, i'll have to bring that up the next businessy type meeting we have
@Witchknight: If the message is "keys are temporarily exhausted for this product", then don't worry, that just means that a key will be there once the game releases. If you aren't even getting that far, then there may have been an error with your email. send a message to and they should be able to sort you out.
@turd: That's great to hear! Standing tall with the likes of Rogue Legacy feels pretty good!

aw yeah got my key and i'm super psyched to play!
rogue legacy was fun but this is what i've really been waiting for

    7. Witchknight on February 14, 2014

I'm putting in my email and being told I don't have a code.

    8. Ken Gagne
      on February 13, 2014

Awesome! Thanks. YouTube often requires that publishers provide on their website a stated policy allowing such monetization; I hope you can find time in your schedules to create such!

    9. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 13, 2014

@Zane: That is weird, well as long as your code quantity is correct there shouldn't be any problems.
@Robert Parrell: Yes from the very beginning we've been planning on releasing the soundtrack digitally over at jake's bandcamp site: It will be pay-what-you-want!
@Chris: *cough* maybe *cough* but we have no*cough* current plans. We are laser focused on the initial release *cough* and once that's out we'll start *cough* thinking about what else shovel knight can be on. *cough* *cough* *cough* man, this cough is really *cough* contageous!
      @Ken Gagne: I don't see why not!
@Eagle Archambeault: Sorry for the confusion on this! That should read something like "the game isn't out but when it is, keys will be right here". Instead you get the default system message.
@Tabari Durham and Ryan Cole : Sorry for the confusion on this, but there actually isn't an issue. Since HB is only handling the game delivery side of things, everyone $25+ is the same as far as they are concerned. We have a separate database for the physical rewards!

    10. Ryan Cole on February 13, 2014

I've had the same problem as others. I pledged $60 or more, and I received a key for only the $25+ Tier. I replied to the email from Humble Bundle, so hopefully I get a response.

    11. Missing avatar

Tabari Durham on February 13, 2014

Just like Shawn Aumond, I too got a response saying that I have a $25+ tier reward when I also pledged at the $60 tier. I will double check with the humble bundle employees and let you know what I hear back if the issue is not resolved Yacht Club.

    12. Eagle Archambeault
      on February 13, 2014

I'm getting "Keys are temporarily exhausted for this product" under my 3ds link when I try and access it.

    13. Ken Gagne
      on February 13, 2014

Will you be allowing YouTube content creators to monetize videos featuring Shovel Knight gameplay footage?

    14. Chris on February 13, 2014

Was a bit confusing to resend the keys as I would have guessed that they automatically appear in my humble library (I just created the account to keep track of all my bundles). But now Shovel Knight is listed below the Sid Meier's bundle. Can't wait till the end of March.

And I know it's kinda dumb to ask:
But is there any chance for Shovel Knight to release on some other (*cough* PlayStation *cough*) platforms later on?

    15. Missing avatar

Robert Parrell on February 13, 2014

This has probably been answered before but will the soundtrack be offered as a separate purchase digitally at some point?

    16. Zane
      on February 13, 2014

      @Yacht Club Games
Both the selections are correct for me, Steam & Wii-U Versions, but found it odd it showed the Wii-U version as a $10 tier. I thought it was supposed to be $15, just wanted to ask to make sure it won't cause any problems.

    17. giga-ganon on February 13, 2014

nevermind, just saw that you answered the question to an other guy with the same problem! thanks!

    18. giga-ganon on February 13, 2014

I did receive the 3ds code too, just curious about the "25$ pledge"

    19. giga-ganon on February 13, 2014

      @Yacht Club Games
      it's weird, i've got a 60 $ pledge, but on humble bundle it said 25 $...

      in total i paid 85$ (60 + a 3ds version 15 + to send outside US, 10 $)

    20. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 13, 2014

@David Taebault: You'll be getting a code for your region but the inital release of codes will be for US. It takes some time to localize everything but we are hoping to get the game to the rest of the world as soon as possible. If you have questions on the specifics of the process you can always email
@Joel S.: Your platform will be the one you chose on your survey. We have you down for PC/STEAM copy. If that needs to change send an email to
@Pedro Henrique da Fonseca Teixeira: For now that system is closed off and you may need to wait until release day to do so. One of the advantages of a digital release is that you'll be able to do that the minute the game is released!

    21. Pedro Henrique da Fonseca Teixeira on February 13, 2014

I've already confirmed my 3DS version. I want to know if I can buy an extra key for the Wii U. Thanks, guys!

      Eccentrigamer on February 13, 2014

I didn't get the option to confirm my platform. It only said my key will be available from the Humble Store download page.

    23. David Taebault on February 12, 2014

Will the keys for 3DS and Wii U versions work in our respected regions? I have an Australian 3DS do I need to make adjustments to my account to make sure my download code works for my region?

    24. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 12, 2014

@Adam Montgomery Shaw: just to clarify, the game is not out yet, however, if you are running into trouble with the process, shoot an email over to and they'll sort you out.

    25. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 12, 2014

@Samuel Bickel: I definitely feel you on that. You don't need an account but it is nice to have all your humble games in one page.
@Keith Alan Kamikawa: Not a physical release but there is a physical box. also we'll use it in all virtual forms. buying the box may be a possibility down the road, and we'll let you know when that happens.
@François Robichet: The keys will be given out once the game is released; the update is so that everyone can start relying on the humble store for support and to prepare for when keys are distributed.

    26. Adam Montgomery Shaw on February 12, 2014

This game is not listed on my purchases nor am I seeing it listed when I "resend keys"... Is there some sort of error?

    27. François Robichet on February 12, 2014

All the keys have been sent ? Because I didn't got any (I checked the email I've put in the survey).

    28. Keith Alan Kamikawa on February 12, 2014

Wait, box art being drafted!? Is there going to be some physical release orrrr just the "box art" for the digital release of the game? Also, any chance you of you fine Yacht Club chaps will be printing extra art books to sell, I'd totally throw you more cash! The manual looks great, I'm super stoked, keep up the excellent work!!!

Drew Brown on February 12, 2014

@Samuel Bickel I'd advise making an account, the humble store and humble bundle both have great games all the time and a lot are pay what you want. You might want to look in to them.

    30. Samuel Bickel on February 12, 2014

To be clear, according to the FAQ we don't need an account at the humble store. "This is not required. But we do recommend it" I'm just tired of making so many different accounts everywhere.

    31. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 12, 2014

@Juan Rodriguez: You are correct! those will be updated to real keys once the game comes out.
@Shawn Aumond: You should double check with the humble guys to make sure everything is all squared away digitally. However, they aren't handling the physical rewards, we are, and i have you correctly slated to receive the physical rewards for the $60 tier.

    32. Shawn Aumond on February 12, 2014

I'm sure it's fine, but it says I purchased at the $25+ tier when I actually got the $60+ tier. Does it say that for everyone above the $25+ tier? If so, will the Shovel Knight Official Soundtrack be given through a different medium?

    33. Juan Rodriguez on February 12, 2014

      Hi there!
I tried getting a WiiU key (I know that the game isn't out yet) and got the following error:
      Shovel Knight WiiU Key
Keys are temporarily exhausted for this product
Will I get a key after the game is released? :-)

    34. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 12, 2014

@Chase Hainey: any platform switchy questions can go right to the guys with their hands all over the database: .

    35. Yacht Club Games Creator on February 12, 2014

@Marylene Raymond and Derek Dalton: Thanks for letting us know! We've updated the copy of the update to inform you that it just means the game is not out yet.
@Ian Barkis: Send a message to the humble guys ( They should be able to answer your questions regarding this.

    36. Justin
      on February 12, 2014

Ian - Unless something changed the $10 tier is PC only:

"Get a digital copy of Shovel Knight for PC, hot off the digital presses!"

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I also think the choice was nailed down in the survey.

    37. Chase Hainey on February 12, 2014

Was incorrectly given 3DS key at the $10 tier. I inquired about switching to a 3DS key and paying the difference, but stated that I would be fine with a Steam key. Any chance that I can trade my unclaimed 3DS key for a Steam copy?

    38. Derek Dalton on February 12, 2014

"Keys are temporarily exhausted" What does this mean?

"Keys are temporarily exhausted for this product"

      Hum, what?

    40. Ian Barkis on February 12, 2014

So at the $10 can I get it on 3DS instead of PC? My laptop's not great for gaming these days and my 3DS is more better for me.
