XELLE (pronounced "excel"), a new pop group made up of singer/songwriter powerhouses JC Cassis and Rony Goffer and The Hardest Working Bitch in Show Business, Mimi Imfurst (of Season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race!) is making its first music video for its debut single, "Party Girl."
"Party Girl" is a guaranteed hit-in-the-making, with a beat that'll make you dance all night, a sassy chorus you won't be able to get out of your head, and a sound like all the guilty pleasure dance-pop you love to love. We love this song, and we want to give it the amazing, eye-catching, high-glam video it deserves. We'll need to use this video as our calling card for the next many months to get gigs, fans and press, so it's extremely important for it to be the best video it can be.
These days, it's hard to make a great video without a great budget, and that's why we're raising funds through Kickstarter. We hope to raise $3,000 by 12/21/10 at midnight so we can make our video dream a reality.
We're already talking to some amazing directors who are interested, but those directors and their visions need to be paid for, and the gals of XELLE are funding the group out of pocket, so we need our friends, family, fans and anyone else who loves pop music to help us out. Check out the video here on our page for more details on where the money is going and to hear our song, "Party Girl." Anything you can pledge will go a very long way in making this happen, and then you will have quite the delicious piece of pop eye/ear candy to enjoy once the video comes out! There are also a lot of awesome rewards for your pledges if we get fully funded, which you can check out to the right on this page.
Thanks so much for your support, and watch our progress here and on www.XELLEmusic.com!
