Write Integrity Press will launch a 15-state, 7000-mile, 80-day summer book tour to promote their authors - with your help! Read more
This project's funding goal was not reached on April 13, 2012.
About this project
We are Write Integrity Press, a small – but growing – independent publishing company, looking for some creative ways to promote our authors.
We need your help.
We want to promote our authors in a way that will generate some buzz, so we’re counting on readers and writers all over the country to help us do that.
If this project is funded, we’ll launch the
HOPE Tour 2012!
We’ll spend approximately 80 days on the road, traveling over 7000 miles, covering 15 states, visiting at least 26 cities/towns where some of our authors and other author friends live. (We’ll try to do another tour like this in a year or two to hit some of the states we miss this time!)
We'll visit our authors’ towns, talk to their local bookstores and newspapers, visiting radio & TV stations as we go.
We’ll meet readers, sign books, talk to some book clubs, give away some prizes, and host some fun events like book readings, pizza parties, cookouts and S'mores parties.
But we need your help to make this happen.
Will you please help us promote our authors by funding this tour?
We have only 30 days to reach our goal, and if it’s not reached, you won’t lose a penny.
We’re offering several fun rewards to show our appreciation of your support, and we’d love to meet you if you’re somewhere along our route.
Be sure to keep an eye on the blog for our latest travel plans. We’ll blog as we go, and share photos of events and people we meet. www.WriteIntegrity.com and www.TracyRuckman.com. Be sure to like us on Facebook and Twitter, too, to keep track of our journey.
If this project is funded, we’ll hit the road the first week of May.

As rewards for your contributions, along with lots of fun experiences and souvenir items, we’re giving away copies of our some of our books, including two novels being published during the Kickstarter campaign:
A Familiar Shore by Jennifer Fromke is contemporary women’s fiction. Meg Marks is a young lawyer raised off the coast of the Carolinas. An anonymous client hires her to arrange his will, and sends her to meet his estranged family at their lake home in northern Michigan. After a shocking discovery, she finds herself caught between his suspicious family and a deathbed promise her conscience demands that she keep. Will she sacrifice her own dreams for revenge or will she seek something more? Available March 23, 2012.
Missing by Suzanne Williams is women’s fiction with a historical setting. For Adele Davis, the loss of her husband during the war in Vietnam leaves her with unanswered questions and a decision—whether to love again. For Amos and Elizabeth Sanders, it is the absence of their precious son, which brings sorrow and pain. Yet a twist of fate gives them something far greater.
For Molly and Doug Sanders, war brings too many secrets, secrets which all but destroy their marriage. Can they find their love again? Three generations of one family tied together across time through the powerful forces of love and war. Available April 20, 2012.
Other books we’re giving away include those in our HOPE Series – a series of books that leave the reader with a sense of hope in this sometimes dark and dreary world. We are still seeking books for this line, and will even be issuing a few contracts during our tour. This line of books will include both fiction and nonfiction, in a variety of genres.
As an added bonus, since we’re foodies, too, we’ll be compiling a fun book called Best Bites on Tour – so give a shout out to some of your favorite regional foods and local, down-to-earth restaurants, and we’ll try to check them out! We’re giving away several copies of this book, and even the possibility to be included INSIDE the book, so be sure to check out those options! This book will be made available November 2012.
Thank you so much! We hope to see you out on the road in a few weeks!
