This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Sat, June 1 2019 6:22 AM UTC +00:00.
I am wrabbit~ I'm an animator and character designer from Hong Kong based in Southern California. I recently graduated from Laguna College of Art and Design with a major in animation, and I've been running an online shop for the past couple of years.
I have been working on a short film about a set of doll circus performers called "Da Capo Circus", which is almost completed. These four characters have come to mean a lot to me over the years I have worked on them, so I found it fitting that the first Kickstarter project of mine includes them.
Also, I thought I would include some of my favorite circus inspired Pokemon in this series!
I have kept the goal small so that if only one pin can get funded, I will still be able to create it! Reaching the main goal will allow the first pin to be made.
The pins will be available for purchase later, however the pins price will be raised to $12 after this campaign. That means the best available deal is by supporting me here on Kickstarter~
NOTICE: despite the Quarter Note tiers description saying the shipping is free, it is an error. Only the Allegro tiers offer free shipping, sorry for the confusion.
Each pin will be:
🎵 -1.5" in hard enamel
🎵 -Backstamped with my name "wrabbit"
🎵 -Using two backing pins
🎵 -Using one color expressed in glitter (with the exception of Phanpy, who has 2)
🎵 -Included with a backing card (design TBA)
Every $250 reached means another pin design becomes unlocked~
🔒 250: Main goal reached! Shinx unlocks
🔒 500: Bulle unlocks
🔒 750: Mime Jr. unlocks
🔒 1000: Pierrhyme unlocks
🔒 1250: Phanpy unlocks
🔒 1500: Lint unlocks
🔒 1750: Popplio unlocks
🔒 2000: Bjorn unlocks
🔒 2250: ???
I might possibly reveal new designs depending on how the campaign goes!
May 1: Kickstarter campaign begins!
May 31: Kickstarter campaign ends
June 1: Begin the manufacturing process
June 30: Receive the enamel pins and evaluate the quality.
July 10: Send the pins out to everyone!
If this project works well, I would very much like to design more pins! I also have plans to take it a step further and set up a plush kickstarter project next, so that we might be able to bring Bulle the rabbit and Bjorn the bear/monkey(?) into the real world!
Risks and challenges
Because there is always a risk of error when manufacturing enamel pins, I may need to order a second batch if a lot of them are made in a less-than-satisfactory quality. This will cause a delay for potentially 3-4 weeks.
There is also a risk of package loss with USPS after I mail it out, so I will be using tracked shipping. Once a package is out of my hands, I no longer have control of it.
No matter what happens, I will always communicate with pledgers as soon as a situation arises.
