@David Stretch - the blurb talking about the art is still in the book David, but I decided a long time ago that it'd be in a section on its own, rather than clutter up the pages and detract from the impact of the artwork itself. I think it was only the Altered Beast mockup from the original campaign that ever had any details on it (and that was about the game, rather than the artwork)
Including the details on the pages themselves would either mean smaller images to make space for the text, or overlaying the images with the copy. I decided to let the artwork speak for itself and to include a critique for each one in a separate section.
It'll be better this way :-)
Thanks for the update and pictures, looks great!!
Really excited to see further progress on this. Great work. Go go go!
Great to hear this is back on track and looking good!
Looks great! Glad this is moving forward and can't wait to see the final product.
As another book designer I'm slightly concerned that so much of the art is two page spreads that cross the gutter. This puts a lot of weight on your print partner and bindery to make sure everything is set up perfectly, otherwise it will be very obvious with even slight misalignments. If assume you're accounting for this, but just a thought.
Looks good, but it's not JUST art now, is it? I liked the blurb that was there before, taking about the art.
Such incredible grit. Bravo Tim.
I haven't received the canvas. Did you send it?
