Localized versions and BGG promotion
Just wanted to post an update to say that I've been getting lots of questions about localized (translated) versions of the game. My initial intent for this was to do downloadable PDF's for the most common languages (French, German). My thoughts now are leaning toward an expansion of this plan and I'd like to hear your thoughts.
I will try to offer translated rules AND cards in the form of downloadable PDF's for the languages that have the strongest interest. A number of people have come forward to volunteer to help with translation and that's excellent to hear. I am of course concerned that the translation be as accurate as possible so that the game remains easy to learn and play.
The translations will obviously happen once we have the rules complete in English. The localized rule books and Print and Play for the cards will be made available prior to shipping.
So far I've had people approach me about French, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, and German. If you have skills in these languages to help out please get in touch.
Hope you had a great Friday.
BGG and other developments:
I was interviewed about Quodd Heroes by the folks from BoardGameStories.com.
Please like and share if you can!
I continue to work to try to get the word out.
In the meantime I would very much appreciate all of you heading to the board game geek page and liking the game and giving a thumbs up the images that you feel are most appealing. We want to try to get Quodd Heroes in the Hotness list and get some action on this amazing campaign!
Please take a moment to help us out and give a heart and like, and if you can start or continue a conversion about the game and what excites you about it! Thanks!
