Hello gang!

Since we've reached our goal about a week ago, we've passed the 5K mark by a few hundred dollars. To say we're psyched is an understatement, thank you! The additional funding will help fund the almost 10% that Kickstarter takes from funded projects.

Almost exactly 9 years ago, National Geographic ran this article about the diving issue:

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2002/10/1001_021001_lobsterdivers.html

And almost as if sections were copied and pasted verbatim, featured in today's (9/10/11) NY Times is this article about the lobster diving situation in Honduras:

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/10/world/americas/10honduras.html?pagewanted=all

The point is that nothing has changed.

We feel that stories like these should be shared with as large of an audience as possible, hence the film. To that end, any additional funding that we should be fortunate enough to receive will go towards other post production costs not included in this Kickstarter. Please consider sending the link to our project to your friends!

All the best!
