This may sound a bit noobish, but is there going to be a multiplayer, as in can you build maps for others to play?

If you are taking suggestions, I would love to see a shrinking potion/effect like in the Gulliver mod for Minecraft. Possibly some tiny areas that it could be used to access, like little mice cities or something that you can access through small tunnels. That paper gliding effect from the Gulliver mod would be amazing too.

Certain crystals could be used to communicate with other NPCs or other players that are far away.

    27. android19 on April 24, 2012

you know, if everybody from the yogscast's nearly 1,700,000 subscribers pledged just one dollar, this game would be so incredibly good!

    28. Torolf Kongsvoll on April 24, 2012

Gave you guys a 500 dollars :-) Hopefully I will be able to help you guys in the development of this awesome game in other ways than donating!!! :D

Certain crystals should be used for different things e.g blue crystals are used to power things like machines and red crystals should be used to create armour and weapons.

dwarven drilling machine. like the giant one waaaaayyy back when :0

    33. Gillo on April 23, 2012

Lets put some good Sci-Fi tech in! Wormholes that you can set up, blackhole or time-bending gravity bombs. That would be really fun to mess around with!
Adding some more cartoon like physics would be nice as well.

    34. William Clark on April 23, 2012

I like the idea of teams to build certain areas like 'tribes' BUT i don't think the game mechanic would be very fair if it was first to mine the materials. i would rather it was more strategy based. like red alert or civilisation. I don't play either of those. but it works well in minecraft. i imagine it could work well in this if it is more RPG Based.

    35. Michael Zietlow on April 23, 2012

I can only assume we'll be mining these crystal caves?
They're obnoxiously big, however there is a part of me that goes WOWEE a big f'ing crystal and its all mine! A game polishing suggestion would be to let the size of the crystal give us a clue as to the amount of oar we will be getting out of it.

Okay I donated $15 (yeah yeah laugh all u want I'm broke) so here's my two cents. This may be impossible or it may be the first thing everyone thought of I don't know I'm making it up.

But I think it would be cool if you could get some form of competitive multiplayer. Say you have a set amount of time to design and build a primary base whilst the enemy builds theirs. The object would be to say destroy the enemy's central base so you have to use mined materials and crafted things like siege weapons/ rare to make blunderbusses/ burning oil pots and retro tanks.

Once the enemy base or yours has been destroyed that's not the end they just claim some of your resources as pillaging booty and then can't attack your for a set amount of time.

You could maybe even expand this further into a bigger game where you have multiple "tribes" with politics, tributes, foreign invasions to fight against each other or all unite to take down the guys who have stolen all your resources. But all using realtime players each having an experience level matched to an area so your not too outcompeted by supernerds with too much time on their hands etc etc.

Basically I've drank too much cheap dirty cider and now am going to bed.

Dear winterkewl & yogscast, please make Yogventure versatile with a rich API so that we can implement and create what we want (from a programme's point of view). :D Don't worry so much in what to put in (i.e. creatures, vehicles, landscape, weapons, etc) as long as Yogventure is flexible, somehow the community of modders will do great things for Yogventures. :D

    43. Michael Løwer on April 22, 2012

@Spiffthespacema I don't think anyone reads the front page, or any of the numerous comments people like us who has read everything we could get out hands on, write about it. :P Would explain all the same assumptions and idea's that get suggested like a dozens times a day. :P
Keep up the great work Winterkewl, can't wait to be downloading or creating some adventure maps for other's to download. :D

    44. Spiffthespaceman on April 22, 2012

80% percent of things people are suggesting is from Minecraft T_T *facepalm*
