One Week Down! Thank you!

The first week of the campaign has passed! Thanks to you guys we've raised a little over $4,500 and are about 15 percent on our way to the goal. It's been a slower climb than we would have liked but if we can keep this pace we MIGHT just make it. So thank you guys for the support and if you have any family, friends or coworkers you think might be interested in Orphan please pass along a link to this campaign.

We've been keeping track of where you guys are from. Being from a rural part of America this has been a real treat to see support from the far reaches of the globe.

PS4 Support

I've gotten alot of questions about PS4 support and in light of that interest and our need for additional momentum we've decided to make it official. PS4 will be supported, pending Sony approval. 

It has always been the plan to release on PS4, as Orphan is a game designed for and inspired by gaming on a big screen. Only the timing of when we release on PS4 is in question due to some additional costs of developing on that platform. 

Reaching a new $36,000 stretch goal will allow us just enough to purchase the necessary hardware and to simultaneously develop for all platforms and release in quick succession. Othwerwise, work could not begin for several months after Orphan is released and enough sales are generated to cover these additional costs.

With regards to backer rewards, backers of this campaign will be able to choose the PS4 version at which time it is available. (Limit 1 PS4 key per backer)

So please, let your friends who own a PS4 know about Orphan!

New Backer Tiers

We tried to make this campaign very conservative and so we set low tiers and avoided inflating our campaign goal with the additional costs of physical rewards. However upon the request and advice of many of you we are adding two more tiers that include new physical rewards. Just remember you're going to need to help us with the shipping!

First we've decided we can afford to do some custom Orphan swag. The new $100 tier will let you choose from available merchandise. We'll take your suggestions over the course of the campaign and add to the selection of swag as your ideas come in. We'll also work up a few different art designs for your selection.

Additionally we've added a $150 tier which, in addition to your choice of the above swag, comes with a personalized, limited print, hardcover art book.
