I have worked as a camera operator, runner, extra, actor, writer, editor, set decorator, editor and security on films and TV shows including King Arthur (Warner Bros.) Outpost 2:Black Sun, Spike Island, Apocalypse and Seperate Lies.
I wanted to produce a short film but could not write or find the right material.
I sent an e-mail, a shot in the dark, to the office of Stephen King, requesting the rights to make a film of the short story 'Morning Deliveries' (Milkman #1) from the 1985 book Skeleton Crew.
A week and a half went by and I had almost forgot my folly.
Then came the reply.

I quickly contacted a small group of friends, family, artists and film-makers I know personally and asked for their help.
We are now in the production stage of the project and the footage is looking strange and raw and great but we need a little help getting it to the finishing dead-line (Halloween 2019).
With your help this collaborative creative effort will be something to get excited about at Halloween 2019 and can hopefully become something cool we all did to look back on.
- Then who knows what next.
Risks and challenges
As per terms of the Dollar Baby contract, from the office of Stephen King, the rights expire in November 2019 so the clock is ticking.
There have already been invites to film festivals and talk of a screening of the film alongside an existing classic Stephen King feature film.
Any help in getting this project completed will be hugely appreciated and anyone that helps in anyway will be kept updated every step of the way- from production to completion to screenings.
