Wisdom Cards celebrate the vast insights of life in unique and artistic ways. These hand-made cards, inspired by midwives, combine the artistic with the literary, and the creative with the practical, to express deep meaning.
They transform lives by harnessing loving wisdom that is shared with many. The truths in these cards endlessly interact with the truths of life, providing a quantum experience – transcending the ordinary.
Surround your environment with beautiful energy by placing your favorite cards in places you live. Pick a card daily to remind you to live to the fullest! Play with sets using spreads like past-present-future to bridge divided worlds. Apply cards to new situations and curiosities to cultivate growth.
The Wisdom Movement
You will help start a global movement of wisdom sharing through hand-made card decks. To launch this movement, I will print at least 100 decks, and launch wildflowerwise.com. The decks will be distributed locally through artisan fairs and shops, and the website will be free for everyone.
I will make wildflowerwise.com so that wecan all share pictures and details of our creative wisdom cards. Together we can harness our collective wisdom to improve this planet for all. We can celebrate cards of the deepest beauty, and make our own wisdom cards with special meaning.
I am making wisdom decks for multiple themes: Life Wisdom, Pregnancy and New Motherhood, Midwifery Skills, and Matrona Wisdom.
The Matrona Midwifery Immersion has been an overarching inspiration for the creation of these cards. Whapio, the instructor, is forging new and ancient ground in the realm of birth. Being a midwife now is about forging a new planet that improves the lives of all people.
At the core of The Matrona are the values of self-empowerment, self-direction, looking deeper, and trusting the process of life and birth. The Matrona teaches simple, self-directed, and empowered ways for women, mothers, and families to facilitate our own births and our own lives.
There will be a purely 'Matrona Wisdom' themed deck for midwives with Whapio (the instructor at The Matrona) writing the guidebook.
Risks and challenges
The major risk of this project is that the printing of the cards in mass could come out wrong somehow. They could be cut in the wrong places, not have the color spectrum I hope for, or various other things.
I will overcome this risk by carefully selecting my printer. I will be present throughout the printing process, viewing drafts and watching as the cards come out of the printer. I have chosen a local printer, and we've sat down and discussed options for this already.
