About this project
Join "Wildernessa" in writing and designing an enhanced Animated Series of EcoEooks forthe iPad/Ipod! As a young mother and world traveler, Wildernessa's creative approach to teaching and inspiring children to become interested in nature and animals has gone from having her own television show on Animal Planet to creating her new publishing company: "A Mother's Earth". With these amazing animated interactive EcoEbooks and lesson plans geared to kids in classrooms K-9, it will hit all the educational points of a well rounded curriculum including science, technology, art, language and engages kids in outdoor and extracurricular activities such as exploring, swimming, photography, art and even diving!
Your support and funding will go towards the animation of the EcoEbook Series, EcoEbook programming for the Ipad, Iphone and Ipod, a special edition hard copy of EcoEbooks and the creation of the lesson plans that correspond to each EcoEbook subject.
Our animator, Maria Crespo, brings her wonderful creativity to each fun, whimsical, magical and true story.
These Ebooks are the gateway to learn more about the creatures, cultures, and places around the world that need human intervention in order to succeed. Each Ebook will be accompanied by a lesson plan that is designed by professional teachers with Masters Degrees in early childhood development and designated towards taking the tale of each creature or conservation story further in the classroom or at home.
A JAWESOME TALE EcoEbook was shown to several groups of children ranging from 1 to 15, and it is kid tested and approved, as they wanted to watch it again and again and learn more about the shark. Teachers as well were engaged and excited, as it gave a " hi-tec" approach to subjects in the classroom.
The plan is to create a series of 3 part animated EcoEbooks and lesson plans, (we have now 4 series written), and with the Jawesome Tale already animated, we will finish the Oceans Series right off.
- A JAWESOME TALE - the plight of the shark
- WANDERING WHALE - the birth of a humpback whale
- OCEAN OF WONDER - plastic, pollution and plunder- how do we help?
The following Ebook series planned for production and publishing are:
- NATIONAL PARKS
- NORTH AMERICAN ANIMALS
It takes about 2.5 weeks to finish the animation, and at the same time we will be working with the teachers and professors on the lesson plans.

Once upon a time, in a land far from the sea,
Lived a little girl who loved animals and trees.
She thought of many things-
of unicorns and magic doors, of secret potion rings.
She grew up in a world of dreams,
And nothing real was as it seemed.
But it is there, in that cowboy state
The little girl would learn her fate…
That secrets grew from a little seed
And nature’s imagination feed.
So – she looked close at the world around,
Alas! That’s where the magic’s found!!
So I am here, and you are there-
And the world is big; you could be scared…
But many creatures welcome you
To share this planet so green and blue.
Let’s make music, laugh and sing-
For we don’t know what tomorrow brings.
Join me… and wait… and you will see
The future’s waiting , to hear from you and me…..
