Homestretch: 5 Days to Go!
5 days left. Wow.
I must say, this campaign has been nothing short of inspiring. Just when things start to look iffy, there's always a pledger or two... or three... or one hundred and sixty-nine... who kick things back into high gear. Looking over the list of all you pledgers still leaves me speechless, which is a really difficult thing to do these days. In case I haven't said it enough, THANK YOU!
As of this writing, we have roughly $2,540 to raise in 5 days. In the words of Commander Peter Quincy Taggart, "Never give up, never surrender!" (Major props to those of you who can name the film that is from.)
I'd like to take this time to thank singer-songwriter Meiko for helping us spread the word about our campaign. Useless trivia here: I have seen her in concert 30 times, and her music inspired a good chunk of I Hate You.
And today, we posted our final video of the campaign, and it features Pyung, me, and our good friend Marie Bollinger arguing over celebrities we look like.
In the past month, I've been approached by four people who told me I looked like DJ/musician Steve Aoki. I figured it would make for a fun video, and while shooting it, I was able to show Pyung and Marie how little I resemble Aoki.
You be the judge, and check out the comparison pics after the Kickstarter credits. Seriously, I look nothing like him:
See? Told ya. :)
5 days to go! Let's make this happen!
