Screen printed Serigraph Oracle card deck featuring 20 cards by lowbrow and gothic artist, White Stag.
As of right now there are 20 cards to the oracle deck as the Kickstarter progresses there is a possibility more will be unlocked. The cards will be printed by hand through means of screen printing with white ink on thick 140 lb. black card stock with kind of a Kraft speckle tone effect. Cards will be Tarot card sized at 2.75" x 4.75" and will look great as stand alone mini prints of art.
With each deck there will be a companion book with card descriptions and an included bag. At this point in time bag artwork is still being fleshed out as well as the design of the book and card backs being finalized. Updates will be posted as the project progresses.
The concept of the cards are loosely inspired from various things like astrology, tarot and runes. I have always been a huge fan of black and white illustration and many years ago it was my primary medium until I had a hand injury. For the last year I have been illustrating coloring books and have gotten back into it doing more line art making this deck black and white only felt natural. It left it open for more hands on printing experience for a more natural and eclectic look. I'm so happy with the way this project has been working out as it has been something I wanted to do for the last several years and the biggest project I have taken on. It has been a massive amount of work but I feel it has really paid off.
The basis of this Kickstarter's goal is to help fund a larger run of these cards. As they are created all by hand there is a huge disadvantages from other oracle decks out there, like production time, and screen printing can be crazy expensive for all the supplies required and the price since they are not printed in bulk overseas, but here in house.
I really wanted to offer a unique thoughtful deck that I could be proud of that compliments my art and is something I could really stand behind or use myself. If this project is a complete success I even have ideas for more decks that will compliment this one and can even be added to it. If you have followed me you'd know I'm pretty prolific when it comes to my art and always working so it's probably only natural I would want to make a series out of it.

It is still being developed and the cover art is still undetermined.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risks and challenges in this project is to get the most amount of detail out of the images for as small as they are printed... And of course screen exposure, I had to reteach myself a skill I have not used since high school. I have been doing tons of research since I first set out on making the art last year, from test prints, paper samples, and tweaking images.
Initially when starting the artwork it was not decided that screen printing was the route i was going so some artworks may need more tweaking to get the best possible print at the size as there was far too much detail in some of the initial card designs.
As any project there could always be unexpected bumps in the road, but I am completely confident there will be no major set backs that cannot be adverted or solved.
If for some reason the pre-orders on the deck from kickstarter exceed the capabilities of being printed by myself that will also be dealt with, but I do have a network of experienced individuals that can assist in the project, but, this could also affect production time.
