Hello again!

As per the headline, we're excited to let you know that we'll be releasing Tahira on GOG.com. The store page is live, so jump over and add it to your wishlist!

Getting the game onto GOG is something we've been working on for some time, so we're very happy that it's happening! A big thank you to everyone who let GOG know that they were interested in the game being sold there. Your efforts did not go unnoticed!

Game Keys! Where, When, How?

Now for the burning question, how are we planning to get game keys to you? Please read carefully if you would like a GOG Key for Tahira.

You have two key options:

1) I'm happy with a Steam Key and a DRM-free copy - You don't need to do anything. We've got all the information we need and on the 31st of August, when the game launches, we'll send you a Humble link that will take you to a page where you'll get: A Steam Key, a DRM-Free copy of Tahira + any digital rewards you pledged for. (Except the digital art book and the 80's version, those will come post-release, when we have time to devote to them)

2) I want a GOG Key not a Steam Key - We need you to let us know through Kickstarter's messaging system by the 25th of August. If you ask for a GOG key, you will not receive a Steam Key. As above, your GOG key will come with any digital rewards you pledged for.(Except the digital art book and the 80's version, those will come post-release, when we have time to devote to them)

That's it for now, as always get in touch if you have any questions!

Take care,

Excellent news. I am worried the 25th of August is much short of a deadline to reach all those who might want GoG instead of Steam though. I imagine I am not the only one who only occasionally checks the Kickstarter website, especially during this holiday season. Perhaps you have some way of triggering an email to be sent to the backers?

@Aljaž Božičko: In few campaigns I am aware of, when 'Steam + DRM free' is promised, the GoG version counts as the DRM free version. Here the DRM free version is apparently provided via Humble, so the GoG link would be an additional, third license.

      Very, very nice to hear.

Cant we get both? Most KS projects gave me both if they were able to.
