Reclaim Neverland is unlike other deckbuilding games because of the combination of PvP elements, not to mention limitations to the size of each player's deck. Reclaim Neverland is similar to its predecessor, Reclaim Oz. Both offer a unique tabletop experience. We have added items to the game that will work as multipliers and bonuses for specific characters and Lost Things to find on your adventure!
The game takes place in Neverland, home to famous characters such as Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and Tiger Lily. But a new band of pirates, including Captain James Hook, are mounting a siege on the inhabitants. All the great Heroes of Neverland have disappeared, and four Pirates from the Mainland have taken over. Reclaim Neverland has several animals, beasts, and mythos from the original book Peter and Wendy including characters from Little White Bird. Your task is to get the World to the way it once was, using characters you collect along the way. If you can compile the best deck, filling each of the categories (HERO, BRAVE, LOST), you win!
Consisting of a 90 Distinctive Card Deck and a Completely New Card Playing Experience, Reclaim Neverland with your cards in hand! Defend your Deck from the Evil Pirates, and Find a Hero to place in your deck to take back Neverland.
The one thing that makes this card game different than a traditional deck building game is the elimination of currency. The cards are given to you each turn. All cards are marked with symbols letting you know how they are used in the game, the symbols include: Hero, Brave, Lost, Trap, Diversion, and Pirate. All of these cards are used in different ways.
Each player is dealt 5 cards. During their turn they will play one card;either face down on their Reclamation Board or one card face down in their discard pile. A final option is to play an action card against another player which will trigger a PvP event. If you choose to place your card on the Reclamation Board instead of Attack, please note, that card is safe from play and will go towards your final deck at the end of the game. Only Pirate Cards can harm your Reclamation Board Cards. Each card is given a value in the form of Never Points. The higher rated the card, the better it will serve you in the endgame. The game is designed for 2 - 6 players but that can easily be expanded to 8 players when combined with Reclaim Oz.
The Game uses the same rules as Reclaim Oz; here is a video that explains the overall concept and strategy used in the game.
If you have any questions regarding the rules of the game that cannot be explained in the Rulebook or Video please reach out to me.
THE LOST: Locations and Lost Things Found in Neverland
THE HERO: Legendary Characters of Neverland
THE BRAVE: Supporting Characters and Animals from Neverland
THE TRAP: Traps of Neverland (1 Card per board played against)
Throughout the Game you must build your Deck via placing it on the Game Board, called the Reclamation Board (7 mil Laminate Card Stock). Once an item is placed, it remains there until the game ends. Each category listed above, contains three cards. Pirate Cards are the only type that cause changes to the Reclamation Board.
Each player can have up to nine cards on their Board, and one card can be given to them as a Trap. That means each deck build is a total of ten cards. When a player is trapped, the card is played face down on their Game Board. The player does not know what trap us given to them until the final tally. With a small build and limited space, the game becomes more challenging as you construct the perfect deck, worth the most Never Points.
Pirate Cards are used to play against other players in order to damage their deck build. They will trigger PvP actions that will cause a player or players to be affected. Some characters can be sacrificed in order to save them from a Pirate Attack. If you are attacked, a player can use what is in their hand to replenish their board, in case of the attack ending the game.
If at any time the player must draw a card from the main deck, but the deck is empty, they shuffle their discard pile and use it as their personal deck, for the remainder of the game.
When all Four Pirates have been played the game ends and the cards on the Reclamation Board are tallied. The player with the most Never Points on their Reclamation Board is the winner. In event of a tie the player with the highest Never Point Hero is the Winner.

Risks and challenges
Of course the biggest risk is making sure that all the prints are finished, packaged, and ready to play by the deadline. We have used this production company before, and we trust that they will be able to meet the demands we will receive as a result of this campaign. We want to make sure everyone gets a chance to play the game and enjoy it with friends and family by the Winter of 2015. As long as we reach the set goal I am confident that we will be able to get the product to you ahead of schedule.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
