Printer Proofs! Woohoo!
Happy Monday to all of you wonderful backers! I just flew back from GaryCon and boy are my arms tired! ... OK even I regretted that, but it is true. Kind of, at least, I just got back from GaryCon IX in Lake Geneva, WI, the birthplace of Dungeons & Dragons, where much fun was had. I ran groups of adventurers through Crypt of Bones, with much dice slinging, undead crushing, and bone subsumption (really, though, watch out for those bone weirds!). It was a great time and I met loads of great people.
While I was gone, the printer proofs arrived! But why use words when a picture can capture so much more?
For the most part the printer proofs look fantastic, but there were two that need to be updated - the logo on the KS2 Crypt of Bones print for Castles & Crusades blends right into the black background, and there was an issue with the interior file on it (it came out blank!). I'm going to get that corrected but I'm not holding everything up, so I'm placing the big order for all the print books in the next day or so.
So right now it looks like shipping out to all of you backers getting physical copies is going to commence in April. It's a couple of months later than I had hoped, so for that I apologize, but I hope you'll be thrilled with the final results once you get them. I've had a blast running all of these adventures.
In the next week or so I'll put up a blog post at cuttothechasegames.com on suggestions for adapting the MEMORIES OF THE TOAD GOD series to the various published campaign settings. Otherwise, I hope the next time you hear from in this space is the "shipping has commenced!" post in the next week or so.
Until next time, may all your hits be crits! Thank you!
