Messenger Bags and SRHK Figures are On Their Way!

Posted by Harebrained Schemes LLC (Creator)

We’re happy to let you know that we just received word from our fulfillment house that they are about to start shipping out domestic packages of the Shadowrun: Hong Kong rewards!

With so many packages to ship, it will take some time for them all to process so please be patient. When your package is on it’s way, you’ll receive an email at your Kickstarter address with the tracking number.

International packages need a little more love than domestic so it will take a bit longer to start sending those out - perhaps even a few weeks - but you will also receive an email when your package ships.

I love my messenger bag. Makes a fantastic laptop case.

After some customs hassle and a delay in delivery due to postal workers strike (can't complain about the last one, since I was one of those striking postal workers), I received the messenger bag yesterday. All in all, I'm really impressed. Don't like the purely decorational straps all that much since I prefer functionality over looks. But other than that, it's absolutely great. From the concept images I was expecting it to be more grey, but I do actually prefer black texture. Grey is too gaudy of a colour for me anyway.

@Veli-Pekka Kujala, I've only got one email from you in our support inbox, but I responded to you there with a letter that will hopefully help with customs. Please respond to that email if you need any more help.

Got mine in England today. Nice.

      @Harebraid Schemes LLC
I have the same problem as Jonas Salonen. Last week I got a letter from customs that I have a package and I need to make custom declorations for it but I can't give them anything because I don't have any kind of order confirmations or similar where it shows all the necessary info. I already sent you an email last week and just now sent another one. If I don't give them anything during this week, they will send it back unless I give them permission to open the stuff up and that will cost a lot.

A 20-something metalhead (or what passes for them these days) spotted my Shadowrun bag during this morning's commute and gestured towards it saying something like "*mumblemumble* slays, Chummer!" then he got extremely self conscious, stared at his boots and walked away before I could finish saying "Thanks!" (for the ...compliment?)

Hey everyone- there should be a packing slip in the packages that has a list of the value. Because of the limited edition nature of the rewards, we declared them as the cost of manufacturing, so the messenger bag is valued at $30 and the figures are valued at $10. We have a letter written up that can be sent to customs explaining the situation, so if you deem it necessary, please email us through this link: and ask for the customs letter. I'll be happy to send it to you.

    9. Jonas Salonen on

What was the value written on the package? I think my bag is at the customs and they ask me to provide information about it and I have no idea what the value on the shipping box is...

Bag and figures arrived safely down here in NZ. Really nice bag! I know what I'll be carrying to our local roleplaying convention in January!

For those of you still wondering, I contacted HBS about the international order tracking. Turns out their fulfillment company didn't include tracking numbers since they can be unreliable on international orders. They said to expect your goods 2-4 weeks after receiving the shipping notice.

Just received my bag. Very nice!

      @Chris King Thanks, Chummer. ^_^

Mine just arrived in good condition, except for Racter's: one of Koschei's limbs had broken off from the base.

@RC - Mine came with. I received a large box, which contained both the messenger bag and a separate box holding the figures.

    16. RC on

Question, Chummers. Were your figures packaged *with* your bag, or did they arrive in a separate box/delivery? ^_^

    17. Joshua R on

Yay - got my stuff, too... The bag turned out really nicely! Thanks, guys and gals!

    18. Caewyn on

Received! Thank you for the lovely figures and bag!

Same as Marlowe, got the mail for DHL shipment (int'l) three days ago, but none of the numbers work for tracking purpose.. (help me, i'm dying here!! ;p )

I got my messenger bag today, and I have to say, it's awesome. It's just the right size for some gaming books, notes, and my Surface -- and it seems the quality is pretty good, too. Thanks for the great work, HBS!

Is it just me or do, the DHL shipments at least, not actually have a tracking number? There's a reward number and an order number, but neither of those work as a tracking number. I want to know when my stuff gets here! =P

    24. Zourn on

Just got the bag in the mail today, and it's great. Fits my 17" gaming laptop easily. Funny thing, the care tag says "Tumble Dry" and a few lines later it says "Do Not Tumble Dry".

    25. Linus Lenin Lindblad on

Do you have any nice pics of the final product?

Just to keep us international backers on the edge of our seats and all.

    26. J.R. Riedel on

Got my shipping notice! (bag only)

    27. John Pfeiffer on

Woo! I can't wait to see if it'll fit an SMG and some frag grenades-- err, I mean, a laptop and accessories! Ha...haha... Damn typos!

Neat. Now I just need a laptop or sheaf of important-looking papers to put in it.

      Heck yes!
