First look at Gobbet's Collectible Figure!

Happy Wednesday, Runners!

As promised yesterday, we're excited to show you a work-in-progress look at Gobbet's Collectible Miniature model. This untextured/unpainted 3D model was created by our own Maury Weiss, the artist responsible for most of the badass Golem Arcana figures we've released.

The great thing about showing you this work-in-progress is that you can clearly see all the love that Maury puts into the details. If you're interested in learning more about Maury's process, you can read about it here.

And remember, everyone who backs us at THE TALISMONGER reward level and above gets ALL 5 figures - Gobbet, Wu, Is0bel, Racter & Koschei, and Gaichu!

Looks like we're getting close to unlocking Gaichu's personal side mission! Oh man, we want to make that one. Tell your friends!

Cheers!

p.s. We have GOT to give a shout out to our friends Elan and Shane for the amazing start to their Kickstarter campaign. They're tearing it up! If you like card games, check this out:

@Stephen, yes the Oatmeal has a pretty huge internet following. He write humorous/humorously informative comics

How the hell does that card game have over 2m funded already?
I've seen both here on KS and in retail very similar looking party games with the same tongue in cheek art and quirky mechanics and gameplay..

Is that 'Oatmeal' thing like some sort of website or pop culture craze that I'm just unaware of or something?

    3. Ber on

@Tobi: yes, The Oatmeal has an incredibly enormous audience. They've done other crowdfunding things before, and they went into the millions as well.

I'm guessing you'll have to work on those hands. The fingers look mighty fragile!

totally unrelated, but you guys need to give Crimson Skies some love! you already got the engine from Shadowrun running, a digital tabletop CS? eh? EH?

SUH-WHEEEET!! Gobbet's digital sculpt is coming along, squeaky-sheen! This bodes well for the other character sculpts, and I know Maury's work on Golem Aracana is TOTALLY WIZ! I love the GA arcana figures! ^_^

Not gonna lie, I was secretly hoping it would be figures from that shadowrun clicks game they made with the cool figures.

Man they're almost at 2 million, they don't need more adverts ;)

Still, a great incentive to back the game, this. I'm pondering upping my pledge, but trying to conserve dosh at the moment :S 125 bucks is all I can afford!
