It's disappointing that Notch is cancelled.

      Hi, Notch team
Congratulations on your milestones so far. Great to see some familiar shanghai pictures you shot in video.
I am curious on scope of the possible applications Notch can support as below and look for potential partnership with you to help another fully-funded mobile-health project :
      1. if single Notch is worn on wrist, whether Notch can provide better/more accurate body movement capture and re-construction than smart phone (e.g.: wear them on arms)today during people's sleeping so it can help sleep analysis application (e.g.: deep sleep vs. light sleep)?
      2. If single Notch is worn on wrist, whether Notch can help do jogging, stairs-climbing or squatting up and down tracking?
Anyway, Wish a successful fund raising for you guys...I will keep close watch on you and see how we can check on more details and explore cooperation...

      Cheers
      Gamp

Hi Nolan, thank you for pointing out to Xcope, looks like a cool project! Looks like we will be preparing more info regarding VR-related applications with Notch.

The Oculus may not have an interface with BLE, but there are a few smartphone-based VR/AR projects out there. There's one, Xcope, that's currently in the middle of their own Kickstarter, with an emphasis on open dev. Putting the two together could make for some really interesting immersion possibilities (limb tracking in-game, etc).

I've seen compatible Kickstarters team up before, and it often works out well for both of them, as far as publicity and notice. I'd love to see what could come of that sort of thing here. I think I'll post a comment over on Xcope's page as well, and maybe you guys will end up getting in touch! :)

      Hi Peter!

Thank you for backing us! We are focusing on mobile applications where Notch can be used with smartphone, outside (in the wild). We have been talking a lot about integrating it with gaming and immersive applications but the focus is on mobile for now. One of the reasons - Bluetooth Low Energy that we are using is not yet supported on gaming major consoles. Kickstarter will surely help plot the interest that Notch generate and plan ahead.

Those Notch seems very usefull for tracking your body within a game or in combination with the Oculus Rift. Did you thought about this use? SDK? Integration? No wires and full tracking, seems to good to be true. You can record your movement and animate a character rig with this. What do you say about this?
