THE DARK TOWER!!

The wicked witch notice that the power of light was growing at the ruins of Gil-Garoth as the towers started going up, and decide to try and stop the magic schools from harvest the magic stones.
THE DARK TOWER is a expansion from "The Towers of Arkhanos" wich add 3 new modes of play:
- The SOLO MODE, in wich you try and build the towers before the witch build hers and send her goblins to get in your way;
- The Witch's game, a new set of rules to play a game of "The Towers of Arkhanos" in a totally different and fun way.
- And the grand master special ability cards.
Exciting right? ok, but HOW does everything works? here's a peek:
THE SOLO MODE:
In the begining of the game, setup the game as normal, with all the towers in the middle of the table, and now shuffle all the dark tower floor tiles with the solo mode icon face up and make a dark tower draw pile.
Draw the first tile from the pile and put it on the side of your regular towers creating a new dark tower to be built. All floors that create the dark tower must come from the dark tower draw pile.
If you aquired the Deluxe Edition with our playmat, you'll have the place for the dark tower on the corner of the playmat, in the swamp dark area.
Now draw 5 dice per round as if it was a 2 player game. You are the first player on the first round, but it alternates between you and her. You draft your die as usual, allocating on one of the 4 towers of Arkhanos. After you have allocated your die along side with one of your meeples, its the witchs turn.
She will always use the lowest pip number die and put it on the tower to begin building against you. Whenever you allocate a die on her tower, the pillars dont matter, immediately trigger the floor ability.
Here some examples of the dark tower floor abilities:
Alternate turns as usual with the Witch always using the lowest pip number die from the pool. After 8 rounds of play, try to have more prestige points than her, if you dare! :)
THE WITCH'S GAME:
In the begining of the game, setup the game as normal, with all the towers in the middle of the table, and now shuffle all the dark tower floor tiles with the witch's icon face up. Draw the first tile and put it on the side of the other towers. Draw 3 dice from the witchs dice bag and put them on the pillars. Draw a second floor and repeat the steps untill you have a 5 floors Dark Tower build up on the side. On the fifth floor, put the dice on the pillars but dont cover with another floor tile, leaving the pips showing. Put the four tiles remaining back to the box, they will not be a part of this game.
Now the first player draw the 5 dice in a regular four or two players game and roll them as usual. When you draft dice, you will have a bigger pool to choose from, now you can get one of these 5 dice rolled or you can get one of the 3 dice that are available on the Dark Tower itself.
You have a choice, keep manipulating the magic stones or try to learn the mystic power of the dark side by getting one dice from the dark tower.
If you choose to get one dice from the Dark Tower, instead of the regular 5 dice, 3 things will happen:
1) immediately get the ability bonus from that floor:
2) The mystic power is corrupting you, gain a goblin meeple. Goblins will give you a -2 prestige points for each goblin you hold at the end of the game. Try and get rid of your goblins during the game not to score negative prestige points. Goblins can help in many cases, the most common is blocking a pillar from your opponents when you already have meeples on a tower.
3) choose one dice from the 5 rolled pool and allocate it on the witchs board. Immediately gain the effect of the chosen spot.
Theres 7 segments on the Witchs board with 7 different effects, choose wisely.
All players will have more dice to choose, but from where they will pick is up to them.
Are you seduced by the dark powers? or will you continue to use the magic stones, even when it does not have one that you need?
Play all 8 rounds as usual and try to score more prestige points than your opponents. But beware of the Dark Tower mystic dice, they can be very powerfull, but they come with a heavy price.
GRAND MASTER ABILITY CARDS:
Do you fell that its time for your grand master meeple to learn more spells and abilities than only having 2 strengh for prestige control of the towers when scoring?
YES, so do we, that's why they have gone to the Dark Tower to lear some new mystic tricks.
At the begining of the game, shuffle the ability cards deck and draw one. For that whole game, all players grand master will have that new ability. Read it aloud and put the card where all players can reach.

How to get the new "DARK TOWER EXPANSION" or the "Plastic Crystal Gems"?
Just click on the "manage your pledge button" and add $25 dolars for the expansion and/or $5 dolars for the gems to your pledge, on the pledge manager you can further detail what you want.
On the pledges SORCERER and WIZARD DELUXE you can add the Dark Tower Expansion with NO EXTRA CHARGE of what you are already paying today.
On the Apprentice pledge, adding the Dark Tower Expansion will add an extra shipping cost of $5 five dollars only.
