About

Doctor first

If you have back or neck pain, you should first consult with your doctor. Pain can be indicative of various illnesses. Physical exercise and massage are most effective for back pain. Our chair is only a preventative measure and doesn't claim to treat back and neck disorders. Because nobody has ever produced this sort of chair before, we don't have data from research on how it might affect your health. We're offering our chair based on common sense and experience. The more people who try to use our chair, the more data we'll have to confirm its effectiveness. We invite you to join our experiment! We want other companies to adopt our ideas — this will help people all over the world feel better. We aren't protecting our design with patents. It's available to all. 

Not so fast

In the video, the chair moves very fast, which may lead you to believe that the you won't be able to work while sitting in it. The chair's speed is actually controlled by a program. You can make it go much slower. For example, rocking once over the course of two minutes. You choose the settings that work best for you. 

Weight limit

Mechanical chair

The mechanical chair's design makes it possible to control the tilt angle between 0 and 15 degrees. A special lever lets you select the tilt angle that's just right for you. In addition to rocking on the chair, you can perform "equilibrium" exercises by trying to balance yourself, preventing the chair from rocking forward or backward. 

Electronic chair

The electronic chair consists of a powerful yet quiet electric motor and a board that we designed. Our board can control the electric motor and read data from many different sensors, including pressure sensors and magnetic sensors. The electric motor is controlled by a L6472PD microcontroller. This lets us accelerate and slow the motor smoothly, and it supports other very powerful functions. It's so awesome that we can't sell it in Russia, since it can be used to make rockets. The board is controlled using a Bluetooth 4.0 module. The chair needs a 100-220V grid for power. The power supply is similar to those used in laptop computers and is kept far from the chair. This means that the voltage and current close to the chair are safe given normal use (24V and 1.5A). 

Software

The chair comes with software for iPhone and Android devices that support Bluetooth 4.0. To demonstrate the possibilities, we created a simplified version of the program. But the more users we get, the more powerful the program will be. Because the software development is independent of the hardware component, we will continue to improve the program even after you receive the chair.

Awesome armrests

It's more comfortable to sit in a chair that has armrests. But the electronics are so expensive that making the chair more complicated would increase the price. We can design super comfortable moving chairs given sufficient investments. We're a small team, so we invite you to first try the simple model of the chair for a low price. But we've designed the chair to accept armrests, which you'll be able to buy separately when the campaign ends.  

Who are we?

Leonid Nazarenko began his career at the Antonov Plant, which built the An-225, the world's largest airplane. Since childhood, Leonid has created model planes, and then taught schoolchildren to do the same. He enjoys radio-controlled model planes and has won RC helicopter competitions. He has a deep understanding of metalworking and a wide range of engineering disciplines. He passed his meticulousness and love of accuracy on to his son.  

Denys Nazarenko has won various competitions in mathematics, physics, and computer science. Denys developed the well-known Start Menu X, which has delighted users around the world with a convenient alternative to the Windows start menu for more than 10 years.

Risks and challenges

We have our supply chain partners ready and able to help us manufacture our chairs. We are fully aware that unexpected bumps in the road may raise, but our team is dedicated to doing whatever it takes to keep our promises.

Like any startup, there are a few risks that we have already minimized. Our production is on cue to start shipping the first batch in August 2019
