Hello Everyone! We are current Computer Animation Seniors at Ringling College of Art & Design.
Thank you for visiting our kickstarter video for our senior thesis film, Watermelon: A Cautionary Tale! It is an animated short film about a boy who swallowed watermelon seeds and his fun journey began as the watermelon grew inside his belly. This project condenses all the knowledge in computer animation that has been educated to us for the past four years here at Ringling College of Art & Design.
Our team has been working on this project for a year in a half and we are close to the finish line! We have gone through the animation pipeline of pre-production, production, and presently in post-production. From developing a script, storyboarding, and concept art. Working on 3D modeling, rigging, layout, animation, lighting, compositing, and editing.
In order to make Watermelon: A Cautionary Tale the best it can be, we need your help to raise $1400 for the cost of the composer and sound designer.
SOUND DESIGNER: $550.
Any additional contributions will help us cover for film festival submissions or competition entry fees.
The Watermelon team appreciates you for viewing our project that we have dedicated a lot of time to. For those who have donated along with sharing our page through social media and word of mouth. To demonstrate our gratitude to our subscribers we have created prizes to ship to your address. We look forward to showing our final product!
We will keep our fans updates through our Facebook and Instagram pages.
