I have spent hundreds of hours to bring our nations an animal activism superhero comic, 2 t-shirts, and an epic calendar featuring plant based athletes images to show people they can be big and strong without having to consume animal products. Our calendar alone has 6 artists, 26 plant based models, 15+ photographers working together starring to star in our calendar alone such as such as champion athletes-
Patrick Baboumian (Germany's strongest man)
Josie Keck (The Uk's strongest woman)
Barny Duplessis (aka. Mr. Universe)
Miles Ludlow (2016 WABBA bodybuilding champion)
DJ Diamond (North America's #1 female DJ)
Mike Downey (Canadian and BC Kickboxing Champion)
and many more muscular / gorgeous veg models and athletes.
Our comic is based on my pigs and I current life story and plight to get my pigs back home due their removal of them by our City of Victoria. This story line has been converted into fantasy to show people what we've been going through and how our companies products have been brought to fruition written by author Mike Downey and illustrated by a DC / Marvel comic legend who has created such comics as Wonder Woman, Spider Man, X-Men, The Avengers, Conan, Hulk, Thor, and many more well known legendary comic books.
We are soon to update this image as a this shirt will have a full color blue / purple background image of an actual rhino and background.
These shirts both have our Warriors of Compassion logo on the back.
Risks and challenges
I have spent the last 2 years, and around 6 months of working for others totaling $25,000 spent as well as hundreds of hours of extra work in order to create my very own animal rights calendar, comic, t-shirts, and website to teach people about the suffering happening to animals towards the ones who often turn a blind eye to such matters by using positive and entertaining fictional projects. During our plight I have become bent towards following a plant based diet, and as I now determined to build our very own epic animal sanctuary / bed n breakfast with the idea that I am fully capable of providing others may have lost their re-connection between the citizens of our planet and animals. I am not the kind of person who asks people for donations, so in turn I created this project with the hopes that I can earn my keep as I am planning to buy an acreage of my own to build an animal sanctuary kingdom and document it all on video for our Youtube page and website.
I began my mission as a warrior for animal rights after connecting to my pet potbelly pigs, Athena and Vishnu who have been forcefully removed by our Government who have abolished them from the group home in which I live due to an age old agriculture bylaw. This is the same home where I care for special needs individuals who love my pigs, and so when they cry, I often remind them of this project and how it's going to help me get my pigs back with me. I spent a year attempting to convince our City Council to let me bring my pets back home, yet even with my efforts expanding our story across Canada through media and tens of thousands of supporters in our nation we have still been turned down by our City Council to bring my pets back to our group home. As harsh winter colds blast away at my domesticated indoor pets, I can no longer be without them any longer, so I bought a trailer, and am moving outside of my hometown and renting an acreage for them to play around in. I will be building them a shed underneath my trailer which I plan on sleeping inside with them for the first month, and documenting it all to raise awareness towards our plight which hundreds of families in North America are also suffering through with the loss of their pets. I created the Warriors of Compassion to pull me through the most difficult time in my life by focusing on a positive and fun project which in turn shall inspire as many others as possible to follow suit and become Warriors of Compassion and take a stand against the abuse happening towards animals on a MASSIVE scale!
