ArcWorlde: Second Edition is a new narrative battle game that allows you to play out exciting story-driven scenarios on the tabletop.
Players use their wits, tactical skill and outside-of-the-box creative thinking to play fun and memorable clashes between heroes, warbands and monsters in a game that is quick, engaging and easy to learn, with beautiful hand-sculpted miniatures.
Once you’ve got to grips with the core mechanics, you’ll be able to customise your Warbands with new items and equipment, link your games in narrative campaigns and even create amazing custom actions and gaming moments for your Characters with the new Feat System.

This, the first Kickstarter for ArcWorlde: Second Edition, will be to launch the first four Factions: The Halflings, Beastfolk, Wild Elves and the Undead Raiders. The other eight Factions will be released over the course of 2020 and 2021.

Adding Older Models to your Pledges
ArcWorlde has a vast range of older sculpts available for collectors. If you are interested in any of the older range, and want to save on shipping, there will be an option to add them to your pledge on the Pledge Manager that will be released after the campaign.
And a huge thank you to all of the ArcWorlde fans who have helped me to get here - you are all wonderful, and I couldn't have done it without you!
The cost of shipping is not included in your pledge, and will be added after the conclusion of the campaign through the pledge manager.
I will provide you all with full instructions when the time comes. I am still finalizing the exact shipping costs, but to give you a rough idea here are a couple of preliminary estimates:
TREASURE MAP: - £0 unless used to purchase miniatures in the campaign.
EXPLORER: - £2 to the UK, £4 ROW. Additional shipping will be added if more miniatures are purchased in the campaign.
ADVENTURER/SWASHBUCKLER: £4 to the UK, £10 ROW.
HERO: £5 to the UK, £12 ROW.
These estimates may increase if you purchase a large number of additional models on top of your core pledge. The final shipping costs are subject to change, and will be based on your location and specific rewards.
For those of you in the EU - as with everyone else, we have no idea what the outcome of Brexit will be on shipping costs, including any potential tariffs. We will keep you all updated as we find out more.
If all goes to plan, I will have everything shipped before Salute 2020. If I've been able to stick to these deadlines, a free option to pick up at Salute will available in the pledge manager for those attending the show.
Risks and challenges
Any undertaking of this nature is a huge commitment and a lot of work for everyone involved. Miniatures need sculpting, manufacturing, packing and eventually shipping to the backers.
It is at these hurdles that some Kickstarters have faltered in the past, so, I have given careful consideration to each part of the process to minimise potential risk. Warploque Miniatures is a family run business, so everyone involved is 100% dedicated to making this project as successful and professional as possible. My father is our resin caster, my mother is in charge of packing and shipment, and our metal caster is a tried and tested person we have worked with for over three years.
Also, instead of relying purely on concept art and work-in-progress sculpts to illustrate my products, all of the initial models that I am offering have already been sculpted. They've been cast, the display copies have been painted, and they are ready to go into production, so backers know exactly what they are investing in. I will be relying on Work in Progress sculpts and concept art for some of the stretch goals, but be assured that they will be completed and cast in a timely manner once the campaign has been funded.
Finally, I have set achievable delivery date estimates. I have kept the campaign small and manageable, eschewing an overly long list of stretch goals, so this project has a much higher probability of being completed and delivered on time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
