      Hi there!
Just received ours. The packing is perfect and the Chimeras are very cute. But I faced the same problem with the connectors at the very first trial. Maybe you'll have to find another material to use as a connector. Because it is very tight for a child to detach the parts; and if they pull hard, the plush will tear or the connector will come out just as our elephants's ear and the monkey's arms got torn. So I think they're just gonna use Chimeras without mixing and matching.
Still they are so cute. Thanks!

    9. Creator Billy Gove on January 4, 2013

Thanks I think it's great but I wouldn't give it to a child because if you pull too hard the pieces will come off without the button

      Hi everyone,

Please email us at if you are having any issues so we can ship out replacements.

    11. Creator Osmond Fabian on January 3, 2013

I have exactly the same issue :-(

Time of life in my son hands (5 years old) = 30 seconds !

      It's a pitty.

      Packaging is amazing !

    12. Creator Sandra Ruth on January 2, 2013

I have the same problem as Peter Young. I really love the Chimeras, but my friend tried to pull an elephant ear from the bat's head and the connector came out. Gonna try to glue them together as Peter did, and hope it will work. Just thought I'd mention it too, so you guys might be able to devise a solution for this :).

    13. Creator Peter Young on December 28, 2012

The package has arrived and the creatures are very cute. Thank you. However, there is an inconsistency in the poppers in that some work perfectly and some are so stiff that when you try to separate the limb/ear from the torso, both parts of the popper pull out of the limb and need to be glued back into place. Apart from this my wife and friends have had a great deal of fun creating some cute but very strange chimeras.

      Just got mine!!!! thanks guys!!

    15. Creator Rui Fu on December 18, 2012

Just got the package! Looks pretty good! The connector pieces were a bit obvious on the monkey's legs though.

    16. Creator Julieann Chassey on December 2, 2012

      That what I was wondering....

    17. Creator Billy Gove on December 2, 2012

      any news

    18. Creator Walrus Toys on November 1, 2012

      Hi all,
So sorry that we've been out of touch! Things have been really busy here at Walrus Toys, getting production going on Chimeras. But we value your support, and we love how Kickstarter connects entrepreneurs and backers to jointly be involved in the development of new products. We're prepping an update today about the production, packaging, and the custom connection.
We're still on track to ship out in November, and we'll try to be better about updating as things progress. We'll send out the surveys later this week!

Hi guys, it's now November 1st and we have not seen anything from you since you reached your funding goal on September 6th.
A status update would be really useful about now, given your predicted shipping dates.
I have not received a survey yet, and I suspect that I am not alone in this.

    20. Creator Brendan on October 31, 2012

How are things going with this? The silence here and Twitter & Facebook since funding was received is becoming a little concerning...
