About this project
You've only got fifteen seconds to choose your three actions. When the horn blares, your actions play out and you race towards your opponents. Show your nerves of steel and ram your opponents with all you've got!
Crash'Em is a high energy party game for 3-6 players, which takes about 30 minutes to play.
Why Crash’Em is one of the best “programming” games ever:
• No downtime: each player has to “program” his moves simultaneously within only 15 seconds. This time restraint leads to hilarious situations!
• Each player stays involved, during the whole game!
• No ‘runaway leader’ problem: the game board is compact enough!
• A clever scoring mechanic: you cannot win the game by only focusing on one player. Damaging more players will give you a better score.
By the way, did we already mention Crash'Em is totally language independent? You can play it with any one in the world and the game offers great fun for both adults and kids! Oh, and it's definitely NOT a racing game!

When will the games be released? We expect Crash'Em to be shipped before Spiel in Essen (which means; September / early October).
Will you sell the game at Spiel? If we have stock left, we will. However, price of the game will then be € 35 at Spiel, so people who are planning to buy the game at Spiel, are better off pledging here on Kickstarter and choosing for the 'pick up at Spiel'-pledge. They save € 6!
Are the box and components designs final? Yes, in fact they are! We are ready to get this game produced and on your gaming table!
Do you have any Kickstarter exclusives? No, not yet. There might be. We offer the game now for only € 29, while the price at fairs will be € 35. Interesting fact, perhaps:We do have a retail pledge, but besides selling the game to retailers via Kickstarter, at this moment we don't have any plans to distribute the game through retail channels.

What are the sizes of the cards? Card size of the race cards is 63 x 88mm. The size of the power-up cards is 68 x 68mm.
I don't have a smartphone or laptop. Can I play the game without the timer app? Yes, you sure can, as long as you have an alarm, kitchen timer or any other thing that can count down to 15 seconds.
Can't you just add a buzzer to the game? We might be able to do this later during the campaign.. but we need your support first!
Crash'Em has been in the works for over 5 years now. Designer Michel Baudoin has constantly improved his design, which has lead to this final version. With more new ideas and better mechanics than the first prototypes (which were already received very, VERY enthusiastically by playtesters worldwide), Michel has managed to increase the fun and replayability of Crash'Em even more! Because we didn't want the game to be published with cardboard cars, but with unique, miniature monster trucks instead, we decided to fund the game through Kickstarter.
Michel Baudoin is the creative brain behind his own publishing company Wacky Works. In 2011 he released Space Maze, which has been sold out and out of print for a few years now. Last year, his design Robot X saw the light of day via Polish publishing company G3. Crash'Em will be his third board game release.
Bart Nijssen has been a board game fanatic for a few decades now. He was one of the driving forces behind the Dutch board game platform Bordspelmania.eu and he used to work for well-known publisher White Goblin Games, with whom he worked on the promotion of games like Rattus, Panic Station, Revolver and Het Verboden Eiland (Forbidden Island). In daily life, he works as a marketing strategist and communication specialist at an advertising agency.
Production of Crash'Em will be done by WinGo.
Michel has decided to publish Crash'Em via his own Wacky Works label, under which he previously published his sold out game Space Maze.
Risks and challenges
Crash'Em is almost ready to hit your gaming table! The rules and graphics are designed, the miniature monster trucks are sculpted and the mold is ready, the factory primed and ready, so we are as close as possible to ordering stock as we could be.
However, issues can still happen in production. Mis-communication with the factory can cause errors which cause delays and faults with the miniatures could slow down production. We do want the game to be released no later than October, but we have allowed extra time in our planning for any unforeseen circumstances. So we feel well prepared and there's no reason right now to think we won't be able to finish this project in October 2016.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
