About
Kacey's story continues. The young hacker finds herself on the run together with Alex who is no longer working at the Central Intelligence. The invisible apartment was no longer invisible and so our main protagonists seek refuge in places that the spying eye of the CI forgot about long ago. They try to find new allies, shine light at the conspiracy orchestrated at high places and be cleared of accusations. Will our two protagonists figure out a way to be free again or will they get caught or even worse? Find out in part 3 which concludes the cyberpunk visual novel series.
We put a large emphasis on symbolism, dreams and imagination of the main characters. It's not only the real world we'll depict in Invisible Apartment 3, but also one that's created through virtual reality and people's subconsciousness.

Kacey will meet some old friends, find new allies and find out that people's objectives aren't always as simple as she thought.

The design of the environments, the backgrounds will be a culture mix as was the case with the previous releases. Cyber-baroque ultra hi-tech spaces mixed with urban decay. There are highrise buildings and there are old, forgotten places slowly falling apart. The inspiration are cities like Prague, Vienna, London and Berlin where old meets new.

The length will be approximately 25000 words, which is similar to part two and a huge jump from part one. There will be several moments when the game branches into different timelines based on the choices you make and there will also be choices that affect the story in a more subtle manner.
Rewards
The design for the DVD and the case is ready. The artbook will include work in progress illustrations and a breakdown of character and environment design as did the artbook for Invisible Apartment 2. We will also compile a soundtrack CD again.

The backers of Invisible Apartment 2 got posters, artbooks, USB keys and DVDs. We plan to give away this type of merchandise now too.

Top backers will receive a custom poster and the complete disk collection. Backers who already supported us and have the complete disk collection so far will be offered an alternative.

The idea behind Invisible Apartment isn't new. Milan Kazarka wrote it down almost ten years ago. In late 2013 the idea formed to publish the story in visual novel format. In early 2014 the development began and in a few months part one was released on the iTunes app store. The story was split into multiple parts. Three of these have already been released. Part one is a demo to the whole series and is a freebie piece of the series:

Part two has recently been Kickstarted and successfully released. It is our first longer format visual novel and one that's been produced after we established Vysoko Anime Production. Here's a review by Serena Nelson.

Part Zero is a prequel to part 1 and describes how Kacey got into trouble and how she met her AI friend Mask. It's been a controversial release. This part could be categorized as psychological drama.

Stretch goals
As before we have some stretch goals; we managed to pass the first stretch goal in our previous Kickstarter, so let's try that again!
€3500 - Kacey voice acting (during important scenes & when doing choices)
€5500 - Invisible Apartment 1 REX - part one which is now the shortest part of the series would be extended and reworked to have a similar length as part 2 and 3.
€8000 - Invisible Apartment 0.5 (Invisible Intermezzo) - production of a part of the series which connects part zero and part 1. With this the whole series would be finally complete.
€12000 - Invisible Apartment Complete - all parts of the series would be combined into one long visual novel. This would then be released end of 2016.
Risks and challenges
We did a succesful Kickstarter for Invisible Apartment 2 which shipped a few weeks ago, so we have an idea of how to handle the process. This will be the 6th novel to release, in all.
This new story will be based on the game engine we used before, with perhaps a few new features but nothing major. One thing we added to the previous release was to hire an editor and we plan to do that again this time. This wll be the first time we're hiring a composer to write original music, rather than use existing soundtracks.
