ABOUT THE TRAILER:
CAPRICE, define as; a sudden and unaccountable change of mood or behavior. The teaser trailer you just saw is a glimpse of what the film will look and feel like. The producer and director decided to go with a trailer because films were meant to be seen. To give it the best production quality, it was shot with a RED EPIC cinema camera mounted on a MŌVI stabilizer. To see the behind-the-scenes photos in the making of this trailer, go to www.facebook.com/beyondvisionfilmsLLC Facebook Fan Page.
ABOUT THE SHORT FILM:
The story follows a young girl who has been moving from one city to another, and finally settling down in a small town. A new place, a fresh start, new friends...the perfect life she was looking for...so she thought.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER AND WRITER/DIRECTOR:
They are two active duty U.S. Navy service members turned independent film makers:
- Jay Agbuya (producer), enlisted into the service in 2006 and is an aviation electrician for the Navy. He also has a background in writing and audio.
- VT Lithyouvong (writer/producer/director), enlisted into the service in 1999 and is an aviation jet engine mechanic for the Navy. He also has a background in writing, producing, cinematography, editing, and directing.
While their priorities are to their service, they find time between their busy schedules to pursue their passion in film making and finally, they are embarking onto their first short film.
Making a short film cost money. Beyond Vision Films, Jay and VT needs your help to kick start their first short film.
Their minimum amount they are asking to make this film possible is $10,000 but their ultimate goal is $15,000.
With $15,000, that gives them the ability to:
- hire more film crews (to lessen the workload for everyone),
- submissions to more film festivals (why make a film if no one will get to see it),
- and overall, adding that extra "cherry on top" to the production quality.
This film is not just for them, but also for you guys. Below is a breakdown of where your contributions will go:

DIRECTOR'S PREVIOUS WORK AND EXPERIENCE:
VT has had experience in producing and directing two music videos; "Lone Star Man" and "Barstool Kind of Night." "Barstool Kind of Night" was funded through kickstarter earlier this year and was a huge success. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the producers, Collin Joseph Neal and Erin Neal, a Seattle Independent Film Company, www.faithvsfateproductions.com. After completion, it went on to become the official selection at the GI Film Festival, World Music & Independent Film Festival and the Northwest Heat Music Video Festival. Check out the videos below.

Filming will commence on September 20, 2014
The writer/director is also in the US Navy and will be deployed right after principal photography is completed and will return back to the states around Feb of 2015.
If we make our budget goal, then we will secure 100% the rest of the cast and crew. They are currently on stand-by.
It will be approximately 15 minutes.
Get the film seen by as many people as possible through film festivals.
Many people have different reasons why they contribute. Ranging from....being a true fan, just feeling like it, or just a very generous person. It is truly up to you.
